CHAPTER 78

But Lan Zhan...don't you think it's strange? I know I don't like men, I also don't like to be touched in certain ways by anyone, but..but...I let you touch me, I wanted you to touch me like that. I know I don't remember much but have we done this before? "

Lan Zhan's eyes bulged out as he became confused if Wei Ying remembered who they were to each other, but after looking at him for a few seconds he realised he didn't remember all of it. Just bits and pieces here and there for and nothing about who they were to each other. He looked away and said
" I don't think we have ever met before, so you might be remembering someone else doing that with you" " Lan Zhan...what do you mean? His could you think that? This is not the first time I felt this, when Jiang Cheng touched me a few years ago I felt like he shouldn't be the one touching me and that there was someone I belonged to and I hated and felt disgusted by his touches when I woke up, it felt wrong and when I woke up and found me chest open the first time I felt like there were worms crawling inside my skin.."

" Wait...什么？!!SHÉNME?!! WHAT?!!..what did he do to you?...Wei Ying...TELL ME!!"  Wei Ying said it without thinking and without knowing but to Lan Zhan it was loud and clear. He was furious about it, he felt wronged by Jiang Cheng, he wondered how he even had the guts to touch what was his. His face reddened with anger and his hands balled into a tight fist, he looked straight into Wei Ying's eyes and Wei Ying got scared of his sudden change of temper. He was scared looking at him and he felt like he had also seen him like this before and he felt like he knew how to calm him down when he was that angry, but he didn't remember how.

" L-La-Lan Zhan..." He was terrified, he backed away form him and stopped when he felt his back hit the headboard, his eyes became glassy and his mouth trembled while his body was shaking atthe sudden outburst. Lan Zhan saw that and he loosened his fist and tried so hard to calm down as he saw that  the love of his while existence scared of him. He didn't want Wei Ying to feel scared, he wanted him to be free in every way possible, either when speaking to him or being around him. He wished he would treat him closely like he did with Jiang Cheng and Nie Huisang whom he just met.

"Wei Ying...I'm sorry" he hanged his head and faced the floor, he felt bad for what he just did and he knew this was going to scare Wei Ying away from him, he knew that because he remembered his brother telling him that. He became so ashamed of himself and he made a promise with himself that before he tried to get his soulmate back, he needed to work on his temper towards Wei Ying. He wasn't the one to loose himself liké that and he wondered why this only happened with Wei Ying. He was about to stand up when Wei Ying rushed forward and grabbed his hand.

He looked at the hand that was holding him and looked back at Wei Ying, and he saw tears and a smile on his face then he quickly fully turned to face him. Wei Ying was looking at him the whole time acter the fright he gave him, but he noticed that that change of temperament wasn't for him but for the one who he was telling him about. He didn't think much, he just thought Lan Zhan didn't like it because he cared about him and his well being. When Lan Zhan apologized he then got the confirmation and he saw how embarrassed and his he regreted his behaviour.

Right at that moment, he knew he had found a true friend, the one he could share his pain, sufferings and secrets with, his confidante. He got off the bed and stood infornt of Lan Zhan while still holding his hand, he wanted to make him feel better so he came up with a way he would make Lan Zhan himself again. He knew he had strange feelings which were only evoked by Lan Zhan, but he also knew it wasn't time to question them. " Lan Zhan...do you hate it when I touch your hand?" Lan Zhan's breath hitched and looked at him.
" No" " did you like it when we kissed?" Lan Zhan became hassitant and avoided his gaze.

With that hasitation, Wei Ying concluded that he had indeed made a mistake touching him. He was about to remove his hand which was holding Lan Zhan's hand when Lan Zhan quickly placed his hand on top of his hand. They liked at each other without saying anything, Wei Ying smiled and Lan Zhan became Lan Zhan, expressionless as he can get. But Wei Ying knew he didn't hate it, he knew he felt The same way he did. But that's was not it, Lan Zhan would never feel the same way as Wei Ying felt for him. His feelings for Wei Ying was more than what Wei Ying could comprehend, it was the kind of live that was too pure and too great that it could overwhelm anyone who gets a glimpse of if. It was the ETERNAL LOVE.

Wei Ying hugged Lan Zhan and whispered in his ear " Lan Zhan...I should get going, I will see you tomorrow. I will come here to see you after classes, if you do not want me to come then please close the gate so that I do not enter." He broke the hug and moved a few feet from him and smiled the most radiant smile he had ever smiled. Lan Zhan got drawn to it and smirked, his eyes softening and his angelic looks made him the most handsome young man Wei Ying had ever seen. He was so proud of himself and thankful aswell to have made the famous Second Childe Lan smirk for him since he was known to be as cold as it can get.

" Lan Zhan...I'll be going now, don't forget what I said. See you tomorrow" he turned around and went out the bedroom door and Lan Zhan followed him up to the main door, he stood there holding the door and looking at Wei Ying's figure dissapear in the dark night which had clouds that his the moon within. He saw him walk out the gate and wave to him before he hurriedly walking away to his dormitory. He felt content when he closed the door, he went to his meditation room and sat down infornt of his Wangji' and said under his breath " what did you two do?" He smiled and fixed his posture before he closed his eyes with a smile in his face and meditated.
