LAN ZHAN AND WEI YING'S ETERNAL DESTINY BOOK2

CHAPTER 24

His heart ached and the light covering him ran in his chest as he commanded the evil spirits to go away from Wei Ying and it was like dirt being sucked by a vacuum cleaner. The light enveloped the entire place and the evil spirits disintegrated , leaving the unconscious Wei Ying in the rocky grounds as his whole body shook from pain and he closed his eyes trying to cut Lan Zhan.

He had tried so hard to cut Lan Zhan off of his dream or shall I say nightmare, but all was in vain as Lan Zhan was the one to end it all. He laid there motionless and Lan Zhan dispersed the remaining evil spirits. It took him less than a minute and when he saw Wei Ying's condition he got worried, he reached over to him and softly and lovingly called out his name. " Wei Ying...I'm here...wake up, Wei Ying ...let's go home" " Lan Zha- ...Lan Zhan..." A tear found its way out of Wei Ying's eye as he became happy that he was saved and not just by anyone....but his Lan Zhan. He began to see and this time really believe how much Lan Zhan really loved him, he realised that it was not just love but more than that and he was thankful.

He had been living a hard life after he lost his parents, and when Lan Zhan first saved him from the horror which nearly ripped him into pieces he was indeed thankful, but he was hassitant to let Lan Zhan in. He was also hassitant to tell Lan Zhan the real reason for holding back an be blamed himself for letting Lan Zhan think what he had thought about him. He pushed his love away and even though he was grateful for that he never opened himself up to anything further. He had made many mistakes and time and time again and he knew it was time to tell Lan Zhan the truth, he deserved to know the truth.

Lan Zhan sat him down while he was unconscious and he held his head while his eyes were still closed. He called out to him again " Wei Ying...let's go home shall we?" " Hâo de" in a weak voice Wei Ying replied with eyes still closed as regret engraved itself further in him. He held out his arm and Lan Zhan took his hand in his as Lan Zhan closed his eyes and the light in his chest pulsated until they were out of the dream. Lan Zhan removed his fingers from Wei Ying's head and opened his eyes to see if Wei Ying was awake but he realised that his core power was still lit and he was still floating in the bed . He was about to cut the core transfere to his spiritual energy since it has charged up more than enough power but before he could be glanced over at Wei Ying.

He saw that Wei Ying was looking at him floating about in the bed while he was covered with blue core power with his eyes wide and no sound coming out of his open mouth and Lan Zhan thought there was still something wrong so" Wei Ying...what's wrong? Are you okay?" " Oh! Lan Zhan...I'm fine, i was just admiring you. You are great, too great " he said with a bright smile and Lan Zhan felt his wrist and he found that his chi(qi) was blocked indeed but the blockage was weakening him and built up the excessive buildup in his abdomen. This was common but where it built up was a problem, the results were sometimes permanent and cannot be reversed even after treatment. The only thing Lan Zhan could do is help him when Wei Ying needs him to and help stabilize his spiritual power so that he could heal his bite wounds that were taking too long to heal.

Lan Zhan closed his eyes and Wei Ying felt Lan Zhan's spiritual energy travelling in his body while it tapped in his spirit. Luckily it became effective after just a few minutes of doing it. Lan Zhan had to ask about the dream and he knew there might be a possibility that he might have thought about something disturbing to him before he slept.
"Wei Ying...what happened? Why were you trapped in there? What are you thinking about that you can't even tell me? His bad is it that you even locked me out of your dream so I couldn't know about it?". Wei Ying was looking at Lan Zhan floating and somehow he felt uncomfortable to answer while he was still in that state. He looked at him up and down and didn't say anything, Lan Zhan saw this and he understood how he must feel about answering him while in that state.

He instantly moved his hands in a circular motion then moved it towards the centre of his body and up to his chest and down again. He was not locking his spiritual energy, he was simply conserving it and he used a method similar to the one which is used in  locking the spiritual power and that made Wei Ying bulge his eyes out. He descended and when he landed sti in his sitting position he looked at him and said " I did not lock my energy, I'm simply just storing it, these methods.ight be similar but are very different. But..I asked you a question Wei Ying"  "ah yes! Sorry, before I answer your question can you please answer mine?" Lan Zhan was confused but there as no time to hide anything at this state, Wei Ying will be taken from him in a few hours or he will go away from him...it didn't matter which of the two will happen but he wanted to be honest with him.

" Mn" Lan Zhan answered and Wei Ying asked " Lan Zhan...why didn't you let me to help you release yourself?" Lan Zhan had no idea that the nightmare was cause by that and he decided to clear it up. " Wei Ying...I didn't want you to use up your energy, you don't have enough energy to heal yourself and if you tire yourself more then how will your body heal? I'm sorry I made you doubt yourself. It really wasn't my intention,but Wei Ying...when it comes to you and me...it will always be you first, you must understand that." " Wh- what do y-you mean by t-that? "
" I will always out you first, no matter the situation, you will always be the first to me" Wei Ying somehow felt a little shy and his smile was differnt than usual but Lan Zhan saw his cheeks puff up and tainned with a little bit of pink blush and he knew.

He knew Wei Ying was shy, to him this was an achievement. " Thank you Lan Zhan,ehh.. but you really don't have to. To answer your question (sigh).. I thought you didn't want to touch me because I disgust you" " why would you think that? " " The way you move away quickly when I want to touch you or hold you, you always push me away either by words or action. " " You really have no idea how much I really want to touch you, but I can't ...atleast not now.
