LAN ZHAN AND WEI YING'S ETERNAL DESTINY BOOK2

CHAPTER 51

The sword gifting ceremony was done and the spirits had already communicated with Lan Zhan about him bowing to them, they made it very clear that it was time to show a little if himself and that he needed to in order for people to trust him as the chosen one. He agreed with them but also felt uncomfortable since he didn't like to show off. The music which mesmerised the occupants if the hall stopped abruptly, bring back their attention to what they came there to do. Nothing seemed off but the spirits made sure to remind them. The spirits played the healing melody in order to heal the occupant's minds since they have been hypnotized, and after that everyone seemed more than ok.

The spirits bowed to Lan Zhan and Lan Zhan was standing up, everyone saw the light going in circles again like they did when they brought out the sword. This time, the most beautiful seven stringed Guqin' appeared inside the bright lights circle. The melody it played was so peaceful and deadly at the same time but it had no effects to everyone around. Lan Zhan held out his hands and it slows descended until it landed on his hands. Suddenly the room was filled with the blue light which was Lan Zhan's core power and his blue light went into the seven stringed Guqin', the blue core power lit up inside Lan Zhan and even covered his entire body and and he floated off the ground. He looked majestic and all the people in the hall slightly bowed as they felt the power emmited from Lan Zhan was now too strong to be if any mortal. Lan Zhan closed his eyes and plucked two strings and the melody that came out was that of the Gods.

At the end if the ceremony Lan Zhan was asked to name his Guqin' and he gave it a name without thinking twice, he said " 忘机, Wàngjī " and the name engraved itssef like it did with his sword and ithers spiritual gifts. He was again asked why and he said " this Guqin'has my spirit inside of it, I name it myself because it also represents me" everyone shouted too loud forgetting where they were, forgetting if they were young or old and forgetting who they were with at that time. Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen stood on there feet and one of them was shocked while the other expected what was going on.

The ceremony ended and Lan Qiren couldn't wait till another day, he write an urgent message to Jiang Fengmian and told him about what had happened. Jiang Fengmian received the letter and he also had something to share with Lan Qiren. We remember that Wei Ying's core power was shut down and now looking back at it...it was the best decision done by the Gods. If Wei Ying's core power was not locked he would have brought attention to himself during the gifting  ceremony, it was a relief that the Jiang clan didn't use the same methods as the Lan's. The gifting part was indeed done by the spirits and the one which represented Wei Ying was the orange light. He felt a sense of familiarity with the spirit and he smiled the most hypnotizing smile of all time.

So when Wei Ying was gifted a sword he was asked what he wanted to name the sword. It was very unlikely to get the two spiritual tools  it to Lan Zhan being who he was he had to, for Lan Xichen being favoured by the Gods also received two gifs which it's named also engraved itself on them, but it was different with Wei Ying, everything the Gods wanted him to do he was slow, he received only one gift and he was more than happy. That's really his he felt, he had never anything to call his own and the sword was the first of everything. He loved it and when he was asked to name it he said " 随便, SUÍBIÀN"

He was asked by his uncle Jiang Fengmian why he named it that way and he said" oh uncle I didn't want to name it like that...aahh! I was thinking if names and when I couldn't decided in my mind many names popped up, so I was simply saying suìbián 'whatever' to other names and not the name of the sword" . He panicked and when he looked back in his arms, he saw that the name ' whatever' was being engraved in his sword. It was too late to change it now, but Wei Ying didn't mind, infact..he was so happy that he even unsheathed it and he saw a spark of red light then he quickly closed it again.

He didn't want anyone finding out who he was. He was already thirteen at the time as he was sure that the Gods still knew the right time to show who he really was. He was living a peaceful life now and he tried to be better in everything so that he would one day leave the Jiang clan and find his own way in life. Madam Yu was still giving him a hard time,punishing him just because she can, refusing him food and or training with others so that he would fall behind for her son to take the number one spot from him.

He was so exited when he heard from Jiang Fengmian that they will be attending the classes at the Gusu Lan clan, the Lan clan hosted it every year but to those who are eligible by age only. It was different be ause they always taught their Lan children at a very young age so that when other clans bring their children then the desciples and children will help them in sharing the responsibilities. Wei Ying had heard about its prestigious name from everyone at the market and he even heard that there were twin brother in Gusu who were exellent in everything they do. He wanted to someday see those twins they were talking about and the time was closer because he had to wait for only two years to go to the Gusu Lan clan.
