CHAPTER 83

Everyone was aware of the one who was standing by the door, except for Wei Ying, who was now even weak to stand because of what Jiang Cheng said. Jiang Cheng stood up looking behind Wei Ying, he was so nervous that he sobered up while looking at him.
" Wei-xiong...aaahh...I think you should turn around... now" Nie Huisang said if fear of what will happen to them. He knew they were going to get punished for sure, but he didn't know how. They still didn't understand the Lan clan rules because what they had done was breaking the same rule Wei Ying broke at his first day of arrival. Wei Ying slowly turned around and he was frightened.

He knew there was no making up stories and he wasn't stupid enough to explain otherwise Abit what was happening. " Ahh... L-LA-LAN Zhan...aah, we-..I..ah...we were just...ahmm..." Wei Ying didn't know how to explain himself, he saw how angry Lan Zhan was and he didn't know what to do, he was still not sure what Lan Zhan was going to do or say. All he knew was that she he gets angry, his face and aura changes into a different person. He looked at him and he saw that he wasn't looking at him, he turned back around slowly and traced Lan Zhan's eyes when he finally saw that he was looking at Jiang Cheng but he  didn't know why.

He looked back at Lan Zhan and he saw that he was actually looking at Jiang Cheng since he turned around and saw him standing there. Lan Zhan's face was as cold as it gets, his face remained as usuall but the aura around him was suffocating enough to kill a person. He wasn't even blinking and he didn't look at anything else or anyone else, but when Wei Ying tried to move aside from him and go towards his wine buddies he turned to look at him. Wei Ying hadn't even moved an inch when Lan Zhan gazed at him by just a shifting his eyes at him and he knew...he was doomed.

He was frightened but he wanted to save his friend and shidi seeing how scared they were at that moment. He quickly went over to them while his gaze was still locked with Lan Zhan's and his with him. " Aah... Nie-xiong... Jiang Cheng... Aren't you going to do what you said you will do?" " We-We.. Wei-xiong...what..where did we want to go, I-I don't re-remember." Nie Huisang said in fright. " To puke of course don't do it here infront of Lan Zhan...just go outside. Jiang Cheng jus-just go with him" Jiang Cheng had long-looked at the ground fearing the sharp glazing eyes that only fell on him.

Nie Huisang stood up quickly from the bed and hurried towards Jiang Cheng, he grabbed his hand and pulled him outside. Wei Ying looked at Lan Zhan and said " aah..Lan Zhan...aah...I forgot that I told you I'll be coming to see you. Aahh..I'm sorry I forgot." Lan Zhan didn't answer, he just looked at him, eyes piercing at Wei Ying like he was trying to look at his soul. He knew he heard right but what he was trying to understand was if what Jiang Cheng had said was true.

'Did they really do something together? I thought Wei Ying was waiting for me, I thought he would never do something like that. But...why did he look like he was frightened, and whybidmt he react to him at that time. Do I really have a chance or I lost it a long time ago? His could Wei Ying do something like this to me'  Lan Zhan was looking into Wei Ying's eyes while his mind played him like a circus clown. He was truly hurt and even Wei Ying saw it in his eyes, he walked closer to him and stood infront of him. He realised that he was thinking a lot, he wasn't sure if Lan Zhan had heard what Jiang Cheng had said, he didn't even know when he got there.

" Lan Zhan...let's go, I need to talk you about something, I think it's about time. I can't hold it in much longer." Lan Zhan came back to his senses hearing those words, he didn't know what Wei Ying wanted to tell him but he felt scared to hear it. His mind ran a few metres while the race hasn't even started, he thought his speculations were right, that Wei Ying and his shidi Jiang Cheng had some sort of relationship going on and he wanted to tell him since he had already found out when he came in. His eyes got glassy as he felt a sting of tears burning his eyes while trying to hold it back.

He just thought if one thing ' I lost him, xiongzhang was right, I wanted so much time looking for a perfect moment to tell him how I felt, I guess I lost to his shidi. I didn't stand a chance in the first place. I guess from now on I have to keep my distance from him, it won't be right if I get too close to him when he has someone he loves.' Lan Zhan's mind was in chaos, his heart was so broken that it went numb, he took a few steps further away from Wei Ying and looked down, trying so hard to take his tears back. He was unable to, so he turned around and went out of Nie Huisang's room and left Wei Ying standing there.

Wei Ying was so surprised by his reaction but he was more hurt than anything else. He thought Lan Zhan didn't care what he wanted to say, he didn't care about him at all. He stood there in the middle of the door and liked at his figure dissapearing and he let out a lone tear. He had forgotten about the two people he helped escape Lan Zhan's deadly stare, they popped out from behind the bushes and stood infornt of him. They traced Wei Ying's eyes and saw that he was looking at Lan Zhan and they saw a lone tear fall down from his face.  They were confused.

" Wei-xiong...what happened? Did Second Childe Lan scold you for what we were doing?" Wei Ying didn't answer , and Jiang Cheng squinted his eyes feeling annoyed by Wei Ying's silence and the way he was looking at Lan Zhan moving away. He thought for a second and then went and stood infront of him, by now they had sobered up in fear of the mighty Lan-er-Gongzi. " Wei Ying!...what are you looking at? Didn't I tell you you were wasting your time? Did you really think he would fall for you? Gah! Let's go jiejie is waiting for us."

He felt relived when he saw Wei Ying crying because he thought there would be no other obstacles on his way of getting Wei Ying to notice him. He didn't care what Lan Zhan had said, as long as he made him cry and that's all that matters because it meant he still had a chance for his love to be  accept by the one he had love for a long time. He saw Wei Ying still standing there without saying anything and he reached out and pulled his hand and dragged him out of Nie Huisang's dormitory to their. They walked towards the gate and Jiang Cheng scoffed at hi again and they left.
