He refused to wait for an answer which Lan Zhan wasn't even planning to give and he stood up and fixed his dirty and torn robes in silence and went to sit in a corner closed his eyes and took several deep breaths to calm his mind and throbbing heart down and finally started his meditation.

Lan Zhan watched him walk away from him and he didn't know why but his heart felt a stabbing pain, his heart was crying for the man who was walking away from him. He finally understood that he didn't want to be away from him even for a second and yet there was nothing he could do or say to change the man's heart. He watched how he sat down and struggled to take deep breaths and he took it as dissapointment since he stopped him from doing what he wanted to do. He woke up and went to sit down in another corner to meditate as well. To him...it was the only way to calm his bleedimg heart, he kept looking at him and when he saw that he was already going deep in meditation he began his. The room was yet again in silence and only the birds chipping sound was heard which brought a relaxing feeling for their meditation, feeling the vibrations of the earth and it's skies making moving in peace.

By the time Lan Xichen came back it was already late, the sun had already set and the cool evening breeze was accompanied by the crickets as they made their way out of hiding. He opened the door and was greeted with silence and the dark room. He slowly walked in and lit the lantern by the door and lit the candles in the room while looking for the two occupants he left behind during the day. He went back to close the door after he saw them meditating in their respective corners, he suddenly had a feeling that something had happened while he was away but he didn't know what and he would never ask about it. He understood better than anyone that these two were old enough to do whatever they wished and make their own decisions, the only thing he could do was guide them if he felt they needed it. That was all.

He sat there for a while before deciding to go and get food for them since they didn't have anything to eat since morning. He walked out and closed the door behind him walking to the Inn keeper down stairs and ordered food for them, he waited for the food to be prepared and he thanked and bowed walking back to the room after paying for it. He again slowly opened the door and slowly walked in and he saw that they were still in meditation and he sat the tray on the table clearing the tray which was poisoned in the morning and putting it far enough from the food he just brought. He didn't want to take it back yet since it still contained the poison and could be deadly if the Inn keeper or his assistant handled it carelessly.

He sat back down and Wei Ying and Lan Zhan woke up at the same time and he decided to pour tea for all them so they could eat their evening meal. The stood up and went over to Lan Xichen and sat down, Wei Ying had a polite smile on his face and he gave a nod and when he was about to reach for the cup of tea Lan Zhan was also reaching for his. Their fingers brushed against each other and Wei Ying gasped and quickly retracted his hand and let Lan Zhan pick his cup first. Lan Zhan picked the cup up and waited for them to pick theirs before he slowly drank his, with his eyes down. Wei Ying also drank his slowly and his eyes also refused to make eye contact with Lan Zhan. They didn't have a problem looking at Lan Xichen, the problem was looking at each other, and this didn't go unnoticed by Lan Xichen who looked at them and couldn't stop wondering what had happened.

He cleared his throat and took out some bowls from the tray and placing them infront of them and he took out the rest of the food on the tray and out the tray aside. He took some chopsticks and placed them on top of their bowls still looking at them, he dicided to speak since it would be impossible to do that on e they started eating. He cleared his throat first and " Wanji...is there anything you two want to share with me?" The reply he got was just ours silence from both of them, they kept their eyes down and he continued " at first I wasn't going to ask because I respect your privacy, but now I think it's safe to say that something happened between you and it's making both if you uncomfortable. Do you mind sharing? Maybe I can help" Lan Xichen didn't ask out if curiosity, infact...he asked out of concern for both of them.

He couldn't interfere with so many things but he was assigned by the Gods to help them in any way possible so was he wrong to invade a tiny part of their privacy? Well it's not like they would come out straight and tell him they were...shall I say...intimate with each other could they. So Lan Zhan did what he does best, which was to ignore to answer the question and and he kept looking down nit even sparing a glance at his brother. Lan Xichen kept looking back and forth at them and Wei Ying did the same, he looked at Lan Xichen who was looking at him and then at Lan Zhan and when he saw that Lan Zhan was not answering he thought that maybe he was leaving everything up to him, waiting for him to answer since he was the one who started everything first.

" Uhmm... Zewu Jun..uhmm it's nothing serious it just that I mistakenly made a mistake but...on purpose. Hahaha don't worry about it Lan Zhan had nothing to do with it" Lan Xichen was confused that even Lan Zhan himself looked at Wei Ying trying to make sense of what he was trying to say. " Oh! I mean uuhh...I did something Lan Zhan didn't like because I thought he wouldn't have a problem with it, that he would like it but...he didn't so..." " Wei Ying... I still don't get it, what exactly did you do to him?"
