LAN ZHAN AND WEI YING'S ETERNAL DESTINY BOOK2

CHAPTER 6

Lan Xichen sat down and started meditating, he didn't know why he did that, it was like his body was involuntarily doing what his mind didn't command. He sat there and watched the two soulmates as they were about to transfere the core power, the light in the room was now purple with the red and blue core powers lit up the entire room as they intertwined themselves becoming one.

Lan Zhan and Wei Ying kept their eyes on each other all the time as their eternal bond fused together, with each other and for each other. The mark in Lan Zhan's chest slowly detached itself from his chest like a vein being strung out of his heart as it floated while a string like red glow came out with the power core. It floated in between them for a few seconds and with lightining speed it penetrates into Wei Ying's chest, right above his heart like it did with Lan Zhan. Wei Ying's whole body jolted and shook, Lan Zhan tightened his hold on both his hands,he was concerned because Wei Ying was already injured. He watched as the power core entered his body little by little until it dissapeared in his chest, after the core completely settled, a mark appeared on the same spot just inches above his heart, it was the same mark Lan Zhan had gotten from keeping the power core.

During the time they started intertwining their hands together, Wei Ying accessed Lan Zhan's spiritual energy and thus connecting with his past just like Lan Zhan did when he first saw Wei Ying outside almost an hour ago. He saw how Lan Zhan had suffered and how he was his cultivation partner and that they were soulmates, he saw that Lan Zhan had also suffered same as him since he was told before he was born that whatever pain or injuries he had, Lan Zhan would also feel it same as him. He now saw how bruises Lan Zhan's body was but he couldn't think why, he had completely forgotten about the dogs and now his focus and worry was of Lan Zhan, his one and only soulmate. After their core transfer their souls connected, sending a beacon that flared through the ceiling and straight out to the sky, even though it was too bright inside...no one outside saw it, no mortal was to see the plans of the Gods. But it didn't mean the evil that was looking for them didn't see it.

Lan Xichen also noticed that Lan Zhan's whole body was covered in bruises and how it looked very painful, buy when he aredully looked at Wei Ying, he saw that his injuries were in the same places where Lan Zhan was bruised. Wei Ying wanted so much to protect Lan Zhan but he couldn't because he felt something while he was still tapping in his mind but he dismissed it and focused on their union. Lan Zhan let go of Wei Ying's hands and they landed smoothly on the ground. The blue and red light still glowed and they were both shown their past as they exchanged their whole life time from the moment before they were born on the mortal world, this was just an a distraction on their part. The Gods knew it would be hard for their bodies go any further than they already had because they still were still in their child form.

The union and connection were now finished and their eyes had now dissipated their core blue and red light colours. When they came to they realised that they were still naked and because it was inappropriate to be undressed infront of the other, they suddenly found themselves embarrassed. Lan Xichen watched as the two boys suddenly become shy of each other and he saw that they had intensive love for one another even as children but they didn't know how to express it since they were both men. Even children knew it was uncommon for men to be in a relationship, and that was indeed the Gods plan. It wascommonly known for men to fight one another especially during wars and even many disputes were done done by men.

So the Gods had thought that it was possible for everyone to live in peace and that was the reason why the Gods made Lan Zhan and Wei Ying soulmates. Showing everyone that love is not based on man and woman but even same genders had the qualities of loving each other. This means that the wars would be less and everyone would eventually come to an understanding, this was their only shot. Disputes and quarrels over their relationship would make clans fight each other and that was something they had to prepare for mentally and physically. Their journeys would be filled with emotional turmoils and it was up to them to deal with it and make sure their love never gets distracted or shaken and Lan Xichen was shown all of this while sitting down looking at the two boys infront of him.

After Lan Zhan and Wei Ying were dressed,they looked at Lan Xichen who looked as if he was now in deep meditation or conversation with the Gods, they didn't want to disturb him. Wei Ying sat down and Lan Zhan thought if doing the same but he didn't know what he was to say to Wei Ying, so he decided to go get their food from down stairs. He was still thinking of what to do when a knock was heard at the door, tbey both looked at the door at the same time and then looked at each other. They were silent for a few seconds when Lan Zhan decided to go open the door but Wei Ying blocked his way with his hand and looked at Lan Zhan deep in the eyes before nodding and heading to the door.

They both wanted to protect each other but Lan Zhan saw that Wei Ying must be very stubborn since he stopped him from opening the door. They were both worried for each other, they didn't know what danger was lurking behind them and they had to be carefully. Wei Ying was already hurt and Lan Zhan wanted to protect him incase there was danger by the door, but Wei Ying couldn't let him. He had thought that maybe his injuries would be healed by Wei Ying's core transfer since it was stronger but he was wrong, it didn't heal him and this made him have many questions.
