Lan Xichen was furious, he was tired of being shut out everytime he tried to help Lan Zhan. He had been trying for so many years and he had had it. He wanted to help Lan Zhan since he knew that he doesn't speak of his worries, his pain and all the neglect he felt throughout those years. He just wanted to protect him because he cared as because it was his mother's dying wish. He knew it was going to be difficult for Lan Zhan to make Wei Ying love him back with all the people that were coming and their uncle present. Lan Zhan felt sad and confused and all sorts of emotions from what his brother's scolding. It was the first time it happened and he knew now that he was wrong, he had to maintain a good relationship with his brother with all costs, not because he wanted to help him with Wei Ying...but because he was his beloved brother who loved him from whe he was little and was willing to risk everything for him. He knew all that had to change, he wanted to start to be more open with his brother and atleast use words with him when necessary. He had made his brother suffer for so long.

Lan Zhan understood that it was uncomfortable to say it so he left it at that. They both went inside with Lan Zhan promising Lan Xichen that he will listen to what he had to say and see if he agreed with it first before shutting him down.

You should go to sleep now it's already late" he smiled at her and she returned a worried smile " A-Xian...ibwas worried about you, I thought maybe you were lost and you were wondering in the dark forest since it's already too late." " Shijie...me? Get lost? No." He chuckled a little and said " I'm dorry6i made you worried, I promise to take better care of myself from now on " he smiled with his eyes and it was enough to relax her shijie. She stood up with the try of food and put it away before she went to bed. It had been a long day for everyone .

He was to sleep in a room next to Jiang Cheng's and he went inside Jiang Cheng's room to check if he was already asleep when he found him sitting in the bed. " Jiang Cheng...you're still awake?"
