The Last Ones part 2 | A Twisted Rainbow Aftermath

Chapter 2

Warning before you read this, this chapter will contain some gore, some self harming and some language so if you don't like that. Don't read it. This chapter was hard to write.

Back in the other world. Lucian puts his arms up to protect the others from The First Curse. "Why are you protecting them, Lucian? They all have done bad things in the past." The First Curse says. "I don't care. They are the only ones left from that world Sabre destroyed which you forced him too." Lucian says. The First Curse laughs. "You fool! You don't understand what these guys have truly done. You don't understand my power either. Do you?" The First Curse asks. "I don't. But I sure would love to learn it." Lucian says. "You might as well leave while you can. One is down. So you might as well go." The First Curse says. Twisted Rainbow gasps. "M." He says. "Guys. Run back to the village. I'll deal with this." Lucian says. "What? We can't leave you here!" Hypno exclaims. "I'll catch up to you soon." Lucian says. They all look at each other but then run out of there.

Twisted Rainbow ran in front of the group. Hypno then noticed something. "Wait! Hang on!" He exclaims. They all stop. "What's wrong?" Twisted Rainbow asks Hypno. Hypno just points to Rainbow's wrist. Twisted Rainbow looks and gasps. "Oh shoot!" He exclaims. "What's wrong?" The Great One asks. "My wrist! Look at it!" Twisted Rainbow exclaims showing it. "Holy shit!" The Great One exclaims. Twisted Rainbow had some sort of infection on his arm. The infection was purple and his arm was swelled up. "Come on. We got to hurry." Hypno Steve says. They all rush towards the village.

They run into the house they were staying at. They all were out of breath. Except for Assistant Steve as he was a robot. "Thank God Steve we're out of there now." The Great One says. "I feel bad about leaving Lucian behind though." Hypno says. "He should be fine." The Great One says.

Twisted Rainbow runs to another room. "How am I supposed to get this off before it actually infects my body?" He asks himself. He sighs. He walks over to a table and grabs a knife. "Oh boy, this is going to hurt." He says. Twisted Rainbow sucks in a breath and plunges the knife into his wrist. He winces from the pain. The infection luckily hadn't gotten into his body yet but he was having to get it off his skin before it did. He held his hand over his mouth and did his best not to scream while cutting off the infection. He did his best not to accidentally cut an artery which would kill him. Twisted Rainbow cut the infection off of him but it left his arm bleeding. He sighed and ripped the knife out of his wrist. Twisted Rainbow hated to have to do that but he knew it was the only way. He dropped the knife. Blood had covered the floor and it was all over the knife too. Twisted Rainbow winced more from the pain. He then walked into another room and wrapped his arm up with a splint. "At least that's off finally." He says. Hypno Steve walks into the room. "Twisted, what're you doing?" He asks. "I'm fine. Don't worry." Twisted says. "You sure? Did you get the infection off?" Hypno asks. "Yeah. Had to cut into my arm but I got it off." Twisted Rainbow says. "Oh jeez. I thought I would've heard you scream but I guess not." Hypno says. "I'm fine. Has Lucian returned yet?" Twisted Rainbow asks. "Not yet." Hypno says. "I hope he's alright." Twisted Rainbow says.

Meanwhile at the warehouse, Lucian is kicked into a wall by The First Curse. "I know who you are Lucian." The First Curse says. Lucian looks at him angrily. "You know nothing about me." He asks. "I've learned a lot about this world by now Lucian." The First Curse says. Lucian stands up and backs away. "But to warn you, I'll be bringing more threat to this world." The First Curse says. He then teleports Sabre's dead body and was holding him by the back of his hoodie. Lucian gasps. "You don't know my full power yet Lucian." The First Curse says. Lucian then runs away.

Twisted Rainbow was pacing waiting for Lucian to come back. They all knew he was the only one who knew a lot about The First Curse so he was the only one who could help them. Lucian makes it back to the village. He enters the house the group was staying in. "Are you guys alright?" He asks. "We're fine. Are you?" Hypno asks. "I'm fine. Don't worry." Lucian says, "Listen, I have an idea. The only way we'll be able to get Shadow back is if one or two of you will head to the multiverse and bring him back here. With Shadow out there, it could end badly if we don't get him back here soon." "We know you can open a portal to the multiverse. Just open one and we'll head in there and get him." The Great One says. "Whoa whoa whoa. The people out there may not be fine with us walking around out there. That's why I say only one or two of us should enter." Lucian says. "Okay fine. I just hope Shadow is alright." The Great One says. "Since when have you cared?" Hypno asks. "Don't start up another argument." Lucian says, "I'll open a portal now."

Later on, in the forest near the warehouse, it started raining. The fire on the warehouse finally was put out. But then, M wakes up below the warehouse. He was on the ground outside. He was still alive. He slowly got up. The fire hadn't hurt him at all but he still needed to get out of there. He knew that. One of M's eyes was still closed because he had lost his eye from being stabbed by Sabre. He began walking back to the village. But before he could make it back there, he collapsed. He decided to shine his flashlight. He took it out but then realized, the flashlight was out of battery. He sighed. M stood back up and continued walking back. Despite being in pain and helpless, he knew he had to get back. He finally made it back to the village. But then, he held onto the side of a house trying to hold himself up but then collapsed against it passing out. Assistant Steve seemed to gasp. "Assistant, what's wrong?" Twisted Rainbow asks. Assistant Steve then ran out of the house. "Where's it going?" Lucian asks. "I don't know." Hypno Steve says. Assistant Steve ran over to where M fell. He grabbed him and then dragged him back to where the others were. Lucian walked out of the house. He gasped. "Oh my God Steve!" He exclaimed. Twisted Rainbow ran out too. "Oh jeez." He says. They grab M and bring him inside. Lucian sets M on the couch. "He looks very beat up." He says. "What happened to his eye?" The Great One asks. "I don't know. He's going to be fine though. We'll let him rest here until he wakes up." Lucian says, "Luckily Assistant Steve sensed him otherwise we probably would've lost him again." "Why didn't he try to signal us though?" Twisted Rainbow asks, "Even with the rain, we would've been able to see it. The flashlights are that bright." Lucian takes M's flashlight out of his pocket. "Oh. The battery is dead in it." He says. "Oh. That explains it." Hypno says. "I better put some more batteries in this." Lucian says. "Did you leave these flashlights in there too?" The Great One asks. "I did. We sometimes used them the same ways you guys did. When we were far away from each other, we would use these flashlights sometimes to signal each other. Good on you for labeling them though." Lucian says. "Luckily the forest is dark enough for them." Twisted Rainbow says. Lucian nods. He grabs some extra batteries for M's flashlight and puts them in. He tests it and it did finally turn on. "There. That should work." Lucian says putting the flashlight next to M. M shifted a bit. He then wakes up. "M! Are you alright?" Hypno asks. M nods. "Do you remember anything that happened back there?" Lucian asks. M points to his missing eye. "Let me get you something for that." Lucian says. M nods. "At least you're alright M. We didn't know where you went when we went back to find Shadow." Twisted Rainbow says. M signs. "What? I'm sorry, I can't understand your sign language." Twisted Rainbow says. "He's asking where Shadow is!" Lucian yells from across the room. "Oh. M. We don't actually know. The First Curse pulled him into the multiverse and now we don't know where he is." Twisted Rainbow says. M seemed to gasp. "We'll find him though. Lucian can open portals to the multiverse." Hypno says. The Great One nods. Lucian walks back into the room. "M. Come here." He says. M walks over to him. Twisted Rainbow turns back to Hypno Steve, Assistant Steve and The Great One. "So, who's going to go to the multiverse when Lucian does open the portal?" Twisted Rainbow asks. "I don't know. I'm a little bit scared about it." Hypno says. "Who knows what's out there?" The Great One says. "I don't know. We'll have to figure it out soon." Twisted Rainbow says. Lucian tightens the bandage over M's eye. "Okay. That should do it." He says. M nods. "Also Twisted, I forgot to ask, why do you have a splint on your arm?" Lucian asks. "Oh. I got an infection from somewhere, probably from The First Curse and I had to cut it out before it spread." Twisted Rainbow says. "Ouch. That had to hurt." Lucian says. "It did." Twisted Rainbow says.

"Okay. Now, when I open a portal to the multiverse. Who's going in?" Lucian asks. "I don't know. It's very risky." Hypno Steve says. "Okay. I'll open it now and one or two of you can go through then." Lucian says. The others stepped back. Lucian takes a deep breath and slowly began opening the portal to the multiverse. After a moment, he succeeded in opening the portal. "Okay, whoever goes through has to hurry and get him out of there immediately before it's too late." Lucian says. "Okay. Who's going through?" The Great One asks. M stands up and looks through the portal. "Whoever does go through, I'll have to let you borrow magic from me so you will be okay." Lucian says. "Yeah, about that. Shadow has some of your magic right?" Twisted Rainbow asks. "He does. But we still need to get him back here." Lucian says. "I know." Twisted Rainbow says. M walks over to the portal. "M. What are you doing?" Hypno Steve asks. M looks back at them sadly. "Wait. You're volunteering to go when you almost died four times?" The Great One asks. M nods. Hypno sighs. "Well, I guess he knows Shadow better than we do." He says. The Great One puts his head down. "M. You have to be really careful. The multiverse is dangerous. Do what you can to not be spotted by many people. Get Shadow and hurry back." Lucian says. M nods again. "Alright. Here M." Lucian says. He gives him some of his magic. "Handle that well and be safe. The magic should tell you where he is." He says. M sighs and enters the multiverse.
