Chapter 44

Sam dropped Sonny off at the village. "We will bring Aiden back soon. Please stay here though." He says. Sonny sighs and nods. "Alright." He says. Sam saw the chain on Sonny's arm. "Want me to get that off?" He asks. Sonny nods. Sam knelt down and grabbed it. He took out a saw and cut the chain. The chain fell off. Sonny sighed. "Thanks." He says. Sam stood up. "No problem." He says. Sonny smiles. Sam sighed and ran off back to the warehouse.

Assistant Steve was walking around in a certain part of the warehouse. He was hunched over and holding his stomach. But his eyes were now purple. Assistant Steve went around a corner. But then he gasped. Blue was on the ground with an axe in her chest. Assistant Steve stared shocked. He then grabs Blue and began walking somewhere. He was dragging Blue somewhere. He knew exactly who attacked her or he thought so and knew what he was going to do about it. Assistant Steve looked around angrily. Then he comes up to another area of the warehouse. Sam was there working on something. Sam looked up and saw Assistant Steve. "Oh. Hey Assistant St-" Assistant Steve fires a laser at him. Sam screamed and fell to the ground with a large burn in his arm. Assistant Steve got the axe out of Blue's chest and approached Sam with it. Sam backed away. "No. No no no no NO!" He exclaimed. Assistant Steve continued approaching him. Sam backed up into a wall. Assistant Steve grabbed Sam and threw him to the ground before punching him several times. Sam tried to stop him but couldn't. Assistant Steve raised the axe and was about to bring it down on Sam. But then, M appears and throws Assistant Steve away from him. Assistant Steve caught himself and looked up. M helped Sam to his feet. He looked so confused. Shadow was running down the hallway. "M! Where did you-" Shadow stopped when he saw Assistant Steve. "What the hell?!" Shadow exclaimed. Assistant Steve turned towards him. "What's wrong with his eyes?" Shadow asked. "I dont know! When he began attacking me, I noticed his eyes were purple!" Sam exclaimed. Assistant Steve approached Shadow with the axe. M gasps and ran towards Assistant Steve trying to pull him away from Shadow. Assistant Steve wasn't stopping though. He knocked M into a wall. Shadow gasped. "M!" He exclaimed. Assistant Steve was about to hit M with the axe but Sam grabbed Assistant Steve by the neck and pressed another button on his chest switching him off. Shadow got back up and ran towards M. He helped him up. "Are you alright?" Shadow asks. M nods. "What happened to him?" Shadow asks looking at Assistant Steve. Sam grabs Assistant Steve and picked him up swinging him over his shoulder. "We better take a look." He says. He put Assistant Steve on a table and grabbed something. He began scanning Assistant Steve. "What the hell?" He said. Shadow looked at him. "What's wrong?" He asks. "His system is going crazy. Like, something is inside of him..." Sam trails off. M looked really worried. But then someone said, "Rebooting..." They all looked over. Blue sat up. She was powered back on. "Blue!" Sam exclaims. Blue slowly stood back up. She looked at Assistant Steve. "Curse detected. Possibly lethal." She says. Sam, Shadow and M gasp. "He's cursed?" Shadow asks. Blue walks over. Sam stared at her. "Did you-" He stops. Blue touched Assistant Steve's chest. "Curse found..." She says. Sam looks at Assistant Steve. "Oh boy." He says. "Is there a way to remove it?" Shadow asks. "Negative." Blue says. Sam looked up. "Then that just makes this situation worse for us." He says. Shadow looks down. "We got to do something though." He says. Sam thought for a moment then he gasped. "I have an idea. I have an extra microchip back at my house. Once it's plugged into him, it may be able to remove the virus, or curse from him." He says. M signs something. Sam looked at Shadow. "He asked if the microchip removes viruses." He says. Sam nods. "The microchip is supposed to remove viruses from robots and it may work with removing a curse too. It's a pretty powerful chip." He says. Shadow sighed and nodded. "Please hurry." He says. Sam nods. He ran out of the room. But then Assistant Steve started gittering. Shadow looked at him. He gasped. "Uh oh." He says.
