Lucian was working on Assistant Steve. "How long do you think M and Shadow will be out there? We don't have much time." Twisted Rainbow says. "We're giving them all the time they need." Lucian says. "What do we do here in the spare time?" Hypno asks. Lucian looks at them. "We try to keep The First Curse from destroying this world." He says. He stands up and walks over to the three. Lucian then gives them all the magic he has. "Once Shadow and M are back and I'm able to fix up Assistant Steve so he's more stable, it's up to you six to stop The First Curse for good. The only way to stop him is to kill him." He explains. "Can't you just banish him again?" Hypno asks. "No. We've already tried that twice and we don't want anyone else getting hurt out there." Lucian says. "How can we kill The First Curse though? He's indestructible." Twisted Rainbow says. "Almost! Indestructible. There is a way to stop him. It's almost like how Shadow weakened him and it will be... A bit sanguinary." "Oh." Hypno says. "We'll figure it all out later." Lucian says, "Right now, I got to get ready for the visit." "Visit?" Hypno asks. "Yeah. One of my friends from the other village is coming to visit. We haven't seen him in quite a while and he decided to come and spend the night here. He'll only be here until tomorrow though. While we would've canceled the plans because of The First Curse, we really just couldn't cancel the plans since he isn't around often." Lucian says. Twisted Rainbow nods. "That's understandable." He says. Lucian nods. He walks away. Hypno looks at Assistant Steve. "Is there a way for Assistant Steve to help out in the fight?" He asks. "I don't know. He hasn't been understanding much of what is happening. I don't know what triggered him to go and get M back in here. Maybe something is going on with him." Hypno says. Twisted Rainbow looks at Assistant Steve's arm. "Professor?" He says very silently. "Hmm?" The Great One says. "N-nothing." Twisted Rainbow says. The Great One sighs and walks over to a window looking outside. He noticed the rain had stopped but the sky was still full of dark clouds. "It must rain all the time here. I wonder why." He says. "I don't know." Twisted Rainbow says. The Great One sighs staring outside the window. "Great One, are you alright?" Hypno asks. The Great One sighs. "I don't know." He says. Hypno and Twisted Rainbow look at each other concerned. Lucian then came back into the room. The Great One looked up. "Lucian, why does it rain all the time here?" Hypno asks. "None of us really know. It's rarely ever sunny or even at least somewhat clear. When it is, we make the most of that day. But we've gotten used to it raining all the time here." Lucian says. Twisted Rainbow walked over to him. "Who all is coming here for that visit?" He asks. "Just some friends. The bird has informed them about The First Curse which is why we reduced the visit down to one day." Lucian says. "Speaking of the bird, how did it heal up after one night? It was shot down by something but the morning after, it was healed up." The Great One says. "Well, the bird has the ability to heal itself. It takes overnight though. After we trained the bird to fly back and forth between villages, I gave it the ability to heal itself if it's ever injured." Lucian says. "Well, I guess that makes sense." Hypno says. "Anyway, they should be here soon." Lucian says. He leaves the house. The Great One sighed. "You know, maybe we should go meet them." Twisted Rainbow says. "Why?" Hypno asks. "I mean, we're going to be here with them until tomorrow. Might as well at least get to know them." Twisted Rainbow explains. "Alright." Hypno says. The Great One nodded.

Several minutes later, everyone at the village including Twisted Rainbow, Hypno Steve and The Great One greeted four steves at the entrance. Three of the Steves looked pretty young. Two of the steves were green, one of them was red and one of them was yellow. Lucian stepped up and gasped when he saw one of the older Green Steves. "Sam!" Lucian exclaims. He rushes over and hugs him. Sam smiled at him and hugged back. "I'm guessing they're best friends." Hypno says. Twisted Rainbow nods. Lucian looks at them. "Guys, this is Sam." He says. "Hey Sam." Hypno says. "Hey guys." Sam says, "Sorry it took so long to come here." "It's fine Sam. But when you guys go home tomorrow, I suggest doing what you can to protect yourselves from The First Curse." Lucian says. "Understood." Sam says. The Red Steve from the group then looked at The Great One. The Great One looked back. "Oh! Sorry. This is Aiden," Sam gestured to the Red Steve. "This is Axel," He gestured to the younger Green Steve. "And this is Bruno." Sam gestured to the Yellow Steve. "Yeah, I forgot you were bringing them." Lucian says. "I'm the one taking care of them this week Lucian so I had to bring them." Sam says. "Alright. That's fine." Lucian says. Sam sighs of relief. "Thanks." Lucian nods. "Come on you three." Sam says. The younger steves follow him. Aiden looked back at The Great One for a second though. "Sorry, I didn't know that they would all be coming." Lucian says. Twisted Rainbow chuckles. "It's fine I'm sure." He says. Hypno nods. Lucian looks back at where they went. "Well, they're only here for a day." He says, "Just remember that." They nod.

Later on, The Great One was sitting near the well in the village. He was mostly thinking about what they should do about The First Curse and figure out a way to keep him from destroying this world. He sighed. But then Aiden walks out from beside a building and notices him. He walks over to The Great One and sat down next to him. "Umm, hi." Aiden says. The Great One looks at him. "Oh hey kid." He says. "What are you doing?" Aiden asks. "Thinking." The Great One says. "Thinking about what?" Aiden asks. "What we're going to do about The First Curse." The Great One says. "Oh." Aiden says. They both fell silent for a moment. "So, what are you exactly?" Aiden asks. The Great One looks at him. "What do you mean?" He asks. "I'm not trying to be rude but I'm just asking, are you a Steve or something else?" Aiden asks. The Great One sighs. "I'm a darkness entity. The leader of the darkness in particular." He says. "Oh. So were you always like that?" Aiden asks. "Well, I was created this way so yes." The Great One says. "What was your past like then?" Aiden asks. "Listen Aiden, I don't think you'd want to hear my story. You would be terrified of me if I do." The Great One says. "No I wouldn't. Just tell me." Aiden says. The Great One sighs. "Fine. Back when our world was still alive, I was created as a darkness entity which means I wanted nothing more than to spread darkness. I created a darkness army and sent them to destroy several kingdoms. There was one certain darkness member who was Shadow as he's now known who destroyed the Red Kingdom and so I gave him the title of Elite. But after he teamed up with M, I had to remove it. I then came to the Overworld to destroy Sabre who had already became evil at the time. But when I tried to fight him, I lost and ended up coming here. That's what happened to the others too. We never died. We just ended up coming to this world after the other one was destroyed." He explains. Aiden looked shocked. "Wow. That's quite a lot you all went through." He says. "Yeah." The Great One says putting his head down. Aiden put his hand on his shoulder trying to comfort him. The Great One looked at him shocked. Why hadn't he run away? Why wasn't he terrified of him? It made no sense. "You ok?" Aiden asked looking at him. "Yes, I am fine." He responds. Aiden sighs. "Alright. Well I'll leave you be then." He says. He slowly got up before leaving. The Great One let out a breath he wasn't aware he was holding. Then he saw his reflection in the well. He quickly averted his gaze and looked away. He didn't understand why Aiden didn't get terrified of him.  Why did he make an effort to comfort him? Why did he stay around to listen to his story? The Great One didn't understand. He looked back at his reflection in the well. The Great One remembered Shadow's words then. "If you let others show you that there is truly good in the world. Maybe you will see it better than I do." He remembered Shadow saying. Maybe Aiden was trying to show him that there was good in the world. The Great One just stood there staring at his reflection thinking about what he could do now. Did he want to stay bad or did he want to reform?
