"He killed him! Why the fuck are we all standing here like it is nothing?"

The room is emptier. With everyone sitting around with their gazes locked onto me. Elmar and Hector look like the world has just come crashing down on them, Bernard on the other hand doesn't even look phased.

"You... killed him?" Seraphine asks carefully, horror in her eyes.

Elmar looks at Akali, "This is the man you chose? A murder?"

Evelynn remarks, "Better than a rapist, no?"

Akali looks at me and then lowers her gaze slightly, "He is here to protect us."

"You can't be serious... Kai'Sa?"

She doesn't lift her gaze, not saying a single word. Ahri is watching me with observing eyes, as if she is trying to see everything about me, to understand what I am doing here but I don't see any form of judgement on her part.

Bernard finally speaks, "He wants to kill all of us, that's why you got him," he looks at Evelynn, "Right?"

Hector doesn't defend her from the accusation.

Evelynn crosses her legs, "I didn't know that the five of you abused and bullied a child back in middle school so much that it drove him to become a trained killer. How your parents bailed you out because the school didn't want to make a police report of the bullying."

I glance at her, but I don't stop her.

The rest of the girls don't react at all.

She chuckles, "Don't look at me like that, you think I am that stupid? The way you all manipulated Akali was a sour taste in the back of my mouth, but we were never in danger in the first place."

Bernard narrows his gaze, "Hah. So that's how it is, huh?"

"Look at her."

He doesn't pull his gaze from Evelynn, I can see Ahri's ears lower slightly before she slowly shakes her head.

Hector says in a weak tone, "You girls were never in danger, they wanted to use our work to trick you into thinking we were the safest people to be around and it majorly backfired after Evelynn found us out."

"Fucking rat-"

Evelynn then chuckles, "You really think he has any other choice? Lose everything just because you idiots wanted us to cling to you like you were our heroes," her voice angrier, "Don't think for a second that I will ever forgive any of you for the plans you had for Akali."

Ahri finally chuckles, I can hear the frustration in that laugh, breathing out with a pained tone, "Get the fuck out of our house. All of you," her gaze settles on me.

I don't blame her for focusing on me.

"This is what you wanted, right?" Bernard walks towards the exit, before stopping beside me and looking at me over his shoulder.

Elmar looks at Seraphine who isn't making any eye contact.

"But-"

"Out," he leaves behind him the only person staying in place is Hector.

Ahri shakes her head, "I don't want to ask you again... leave. Please."

I respect her wishes and head straight outside. The two of them didn't waste any time leaving so I couldn't catch up with them but that isn't the problem... I will find them because I already dismantled so much of their operation that there is nothing to go back to.

***   Evelynn POV   ***

I made a risky decision.

I told them about everything. Everything I learned from stealing information from the Agency on (Y/N), and went and blabbed to everyone about it. Not after I made convinced Hector into telling all of them about every single fucked up detail so that he can still stick to my side.

Akali asks carefully, "Are you getting rid of him, Ahri?"

She shakes her head, "I just want us to talk about this before we do anything. Eve you hired him, I honestly don't care what you do with him or what you make him do. I just..." she freezes.

Kai'Sa lifts herself and drops down next to her, pulling her closer to hold her, "It's hard... I know."

Seraphine asks me, "What do you think Eve?" I look at her with a furrowed brow, "Is it justified, all of this?"

"I'd kill them in a heartbeat for everything they wanted to do to us," I see Hector flinch at my words, "but we are victims of possibility at this point. The real victim is the one avenging a kid that already died."

I lift myself and command Hector, "Come with me."

He silently follows me out to the hallway, leaving the four of them alone for a bit. "Eve I-"

"Shut," he pulls his gaze away from me, "Work with (Y/N). Prove that you give a fuck about me and that every single fucking thing you said about not ever wanting to resort to such extremes is the truth."

He nods, "He'll kill them."

"Well you have options, honey," I say sarcastically, "Either die with them or help him kill them. Your choice."

I walk away from him to give him some time to think while I console the girls. The thing is, Hector is going to die no matter what. I know that there is nothing stopping him from killing him and I won't stop (Y/N) from getting revenge after everything I learned.
