***   Akali POV   ***

He is sitting very close to me but not daring to touch me in any way. The familiarity around each other is still there but I don't really know where we should go with this... if there is even a place to recover the damage the two of us have already done.

The constant fighting.

"Enjoying your night, at least?"

"Trying to." I breathe out.

"Want to... dance?"

"No thanks." I shake my head. Then with a heavy sigh, I look at him. "Tony I said I needed time, by coming to me and just-"

"I am giving you time."

"No, you aren't." I rub my eyes out. "You are actively sitting here and I can't even get a moment to not think about the two of us because you keep pushing it down my throat. I said we'd handle it our own way. Right?"

"I... yeah..." god I hate that face of his, I can't stand the way he looks when he is depressed.

It pisses me off, and makes me feel sad... as if this is my fault.

"Listen." I cock my head to make him look me in the eye. "I just wanted tonight to enjoy myself, to just clear my head and then we can clear the air when I feel better about the entire scenario that we are stuck in."

"Leaving it like this... I can't leave our relationship like this."

I shake my head. "Because you are scared I decided that it wouldn't work out?" He looks at me with that same expression. "So that you can make me feel like I need you? And that I won't make that choice?"

"It-"

"You aren't giving me the opportunity to think of anything else, Tony."

He lifts himself out of the seat lifting his hands up in the air. "Fine."

In the next moment, there is a loud bang that echoes through the rooms. I lift myself instantly with a furrowed brow as Tony instantly turns around to look me in the eyes with a terrified expression.

"We need to get out of here!"

The entire place bursts into panic and screams. Tony grabs my hand leading me towards one of the nearby exits, I look back over my shoulder hoping that the other girls are getting out easily without any problem.

Fuck... what just happened? Why are they after us!?

I feel my heart race in my chest, hoping that I could do something. I feel Tony's grip disappear from my wrist only to see someone with a face mask place a barrel of an assault rifle against my throat.

"N-no..."

Tony is on the floor. He lifts himself suddenly and slams his elbow against the side of this guy's head knocking him away from me, the gun lifts into the air and a burst of rounds travels into the air making my ears ring.

I can hear him talk to me but it is all in a haze.

Frozen in place I see the guy lying on the floor with Tony breaking the mask open with his heel.

"We need to get out of here, Akali!" I finally hear him. 

"Y-yeah!" I follow him not having anything better to do.

***   Normal POV   ***

I slit his throat and let him fall to the floor, grabbing his gun from his hand I place a burst into another's chest and shoot through the door leading to the security room. The door swings open with a masked goon dropping to the ground.
