After talking for a bit more he walks me to the front door. He wraps me up in his arms and pulls me to his chest. We hugged quietly for a long time, I think we both needed a hug like that."Thanks for talking to me." He says, keeping me in his embrace.
"Yeah, I feel a little better." I tell him.
"Me too."
I look up at him, softly staring into his eyes. "Goodbye, Nick."
His hands run down my sides and he holds me by my hips now. "Goodbye, Lili." He replies, faintly.
His eyes become hooded and he licks his lips as he searches my face, I wasn't sure what he was looking for in my reflection, but I could tell he was definitely trying to find something.
"I should go." I whisper.
"I know, but can I ask you one more question, before you go?" His voice was low, and husky.
"Sure."
He pulls me a bit closer again by my hips. "Do you still care about me?"
"Yes." I quickly and honestly, answer.
"Can I kiss you?" He asks.
"That's two questions." I say, smirking.
Without hesitation, I stand on my tippy toes and push my lips against his. Kissing him felt differently than kissing anyone else. There was some type of electrical charge that happened when our lips would meet. I wasn't sure why, but it was addicting, and the most satisfying warmth that took over my entire body. I wished I could always feel this way.
After we break the kiss, he smiles wildly. "Damn, I missed that. Can we do it again?"
I laugh, putting my hand up over his mouth. "Calm down there, boy. I'll see you soon." I say, reaching for the doorknob and opening it up.
Before I exit he says "Hey, Lili. No matter what happens, I just want you to know I'll always care about you."
"I know, Nick. Same." I reply.
Cardinals Trace McSorley
Game day.
Today, I was more anxious than I had ever been before. I could barely keep myself from shaking with anticipation of possibly seeing Trace.
