Nick removes his sunglasses and hat.
"Alright, whatever. Let's go." He says.

The four of us walk down to the waters edge and enter into the gentle, warm current of the waves. Joey helps me to climb onto his shoulders. I knew he was tall, but sitting on top of him made me feel like I was sitting on the top of a mountain.

I watch as Kayla adjusts herself onto Nick. It was going to be satisfying to dismount her off of him.

"Let's just get this over with." Nick says, looking rather unhappy to be playing the game.

Oh, it'll be over soon. I think to myself as I stare Kayla dead in the eyes. She was about my height and weight, so it was a fair match, but she didn't look like the type to be a very strong fighter.

After the boys get their footing stable beneath the water and secured into the sand. We start the game.

Kayla immediately, shoves me roughly and that's when I knew, she wanted to inflict pain and embarrassment on me, but what she didn't know was that I had already had so much emotional and psychical damage done to me.. that nothing she could do would hurt in the slightest.

I quickly, shove her back hard. That's when she decides to thrust me in the face with her palm. I react to this out of pure instinct and slap her violently, across the side of her cheek.

"What the fuck?!" She explodes.

"You pushed me in my face, bitch!" I yell back.

"Calm down, Liliana." Nick says, looking up at me. His eyes didn't stay focused on me for long, but just the mere seconds that they did caused havoc within inside my body.

Kayla instantly, shoves me in the chest again. "Stop being such a baby!" She starts to laugh in a condescending tone, which pissed me off even more. "Are you scared of me?" She asks, having relentless malice in her eyes.

I laugh back at her. "I'm not scared of you at all."

"Yeah, you are." She annoyingly, smirks.

"No, I'm not." I go to push her again, but she grabs me by my wrists and starts twisting on them.

Joey steps back giving us space long enough to break her grip off. When he steps forward again, Kayla slaps me in my face.

"How do you like it?" She mocks me.

"Kayla, stop!" Nick yells.

"She did it first." She laughs.

"Don't stop, get her back, Lili." Joey says.

I quickly, draw back my hand and load it with power as I swing around to make contact with her face. I knew it hurt her, because my palm stung from the impact.

She suddenly grabs a chunk of my hair and starts to pull me to the side of Joeys shoulders. She pulled so hard, I could feel strands of my hair start to break off.

"Get off my hair, you bitch!" I howl at her as she painfully keeps pulling.

"Fuck you!" She sneers and continues to roughly tug on top of my hair. My braid starts to come unraveled because of this and I felt the rage building up inside of me and starting to reach a boiling point.
