The next morning.

When I wake up, I notice Nick is not in bed. I slowly stretch and look around the room that was illuminated by the morning light. I softly, smile to myself. I loved waking up in his room.

I hear muffled voices coming from downstairs. I quietly make my way down the steps and could immediately, tell who's voices they were. It was Joey and Nick, Joey sounded completed inebriated which, was confusing because it couldn't even have been 10am yet.

I wait at the landing of the bottom floor, just around the corner and listen. I knew I shouldn't have been ease dropping, but the conversation they were having consisted of me and I wanted to hear what they were saying about me unfiltered.

"Dude, I'm just saying Lili is super hot. I'm proud of you." Joey says.

"I know she is, but I'm telling you right now to shut your mouth." Nick replies.

"Yeah, but like, I don't know how you're going to handle that. Having a girl that's a 10 out of 10. You're going to go crazy, you're going to have to deal with guys always all over her. I mean... you honestly think you can deal with that?"

"Just shut up, I'm serious, Joey." Nick warns him.

"Her pussy is tight, too."

"You should be so grateful you're drunk right now or else I would knock you the fuck out for saying that." I can hear Nick is gritting his teeth.

"Do it, bitch!" I hear the bar stool scrape across the floor.

This was the time for me to intervene. I turn the corner and I see Joey, he's barely standing up straight and Nick is coming around the counter at him.

"Stop!" I tell. "What's going on?"

They both turn and look at me. I could instantly, tell that Joey is blacked out. His eyes were completely glossed over and I'm not even sure if he was present in his mind in any type of way.

"Joey decided that coming over here at 9:30 in the goddamn morning drunk off his ass and trying to pick a fight with me was a good idea today, I guess." Nick says.

"Why are you drunk at 9:30am, Joey?"

"I haven't went to bed." He replies.

"Why haven't you went to bed? And how did you get here?" I question him.

"He said he walked here, but I don't believe him." Nick answers.

I walk over to the front window and peer out. Thankfully, his car wasn't in the driveway so that made me feel a bit better knowing he didn't drink and drive. Especially, the kind of state he was in, that wouldn't have ended well.

"You should go lay down." I tell him.

"You should go lay down, Liliana." He replies, in a taunting voice.

"I went to sleep last night, Joey and it was great, you should try it."

"Oh, yeah? Did you fall asleep on my brothers dick last night?" He stumbles a bit, but catches himself.
