Kayla was wrestling me like a toddler. I tried desperately to keep her from grabbing my ponytail. I regretted not putting my hair into a bun.Once I knew we were the closest we could be to the edge of the boat.. I loosen my grip around her. I was going to shove her right over without any mercy.
"Want to go swimming, bitch?!" She snarls, catching onto my plan.
"You're the one that needs to go find your phone and laptop." I say, as I struggle to push her over.
"What the hell is wrong with you people?!" She screams, as she momentarily looks around at me and the boys.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I loudly, reply as she still fights to grab ahold of my hair.
"I lost all respect for you when I found out you fucked him while he was still with me." She roars. "—And I was fucking nice to you."
"I was sickly in love with him, Kayla!" My voice was shaking and my arms were using up a lot of strength.
"What happened to girl code? You're not a good person, Liliana. And you know it!"
"I'm a better person than you."
"No, you're not. You are just a sad broken little girl with daddy issues and that's exactly how he likes it. He'll get bored of you eventually.."
"What the hell are you talking about?!"
"You better say something now, Nick! Tell her how much you love that she is broken!" She howls, because I was starting to dig my nails into her arm.
"Kayla, stop!" Nicks voice was the loudest I've ever herd it and it sorta shocked me back into reality.
"Liliana, Nick only loves you because he's fucking miserable about you being raped. He feels bad for you and he feels guilty that he's into that shit. He loves knowing you were raped. Ask him!"
"What?" My breath nearly stops and I look at Nick. "You told her about my rape?" I stare at him with tears in my eyes as I continue to grapple with Kayla.
"I didn't tell her, Liliana. I swear." Nick stares back at me with pitiful eyes.
"He is fucking sick just like his uncle!!" She screams, piercing my ears.
I keep my eyes locked onto Nick as I felt myself sinking into the floor of the boat. The only thing holding me up at this point was Kayla.
What did she know? And what has Nick told her?
"That's enough!" Joey shouts over us. "We got done what needed to get done." He pushes Kayla off of me and I was a bit disappointed he didn't let me throw her into the water.
Nick was in a hurry to start up the boat again.
Joey sits me down in the chair and takes a seat next to me. He wraps an arm around my shoulder. I think this was just so that I was secured.
He then leans in closer to me, scooping me into him and says. "I'll let you kick her ass of you want, but I don't know if that's a good idea. I mean.. you work for a high school and an assault charge wouldn't look good on you, Lili."
