After we emerge from the shower, my head was still spinning. What was that? I think to myself. Why didn't he fuck me? I try my best to keep my mind from going to unpleasant thoughts.
I watch him as he wrestles on his clothing, covering up all the best parts of him. I wanted to question him, ask him why he didn't fully commit to that sexual encounter, but I was worried to even ask. Things were going so well, and the last thing I wanted was to cause any trouble.
"So.." He says, with a smile after straightening out his hair. "That was nice."
Was it? My inner thought's question, but instead I give him a soft smile back and agree.
He stops for a second and over looks my face. "Um, you ok?" He asks, possibly noticing my frustration.
"Mhm." I gently, nod. I had to remind myself he did have weird rules about sex, so maybe it was just one of those times.
We both suddenly hear Boomer barking in the backyard downstairs. "I gotta go let him in." Nick says, quickly and I follow him down the staircase. I closely watch the muscles in his wide back move beneath his shirt as he makes his way down.
Lethal. I think to myself. The man was fucking lethal in more ways then one.
We spend sometime playing with big ass Boomer. The dog legit, weighed more than me, that I was sure of.
Joey was right, he did drool a lot, but he was a big ol' teddy bear, just like Nick.
"So, uh..." Nick starts to speak, but he sounds a bit nervous. "I gotta go to this birthday party later tonight, would you want to come with me?" He flashes me a sweet, innocent looking smile.
I instantly melt. "Sure. I just have to go home and get changed into something."
"Well, the party is in Miami, so I can pick you up from your place?" He asks.
"Okay."
"It's kind of an extravagant cocktail party, so if you have any appropriate black dresses, wear one of those."
"Okay." I reply again and give him a full smile and giggle a little.
"What?" He questions me.
"It's just going to be nice. Not to hide away behind walls anymore with you." I say, my heart fluttering.
The birthday party.
Nick picks me up around 9pm. I was ready and waiting by the front door window and watch as he parks on the street and walks up to the door. He was dressed nicer than I had ever seen him dress before for a party.
