The sun shines into my room, I turn to lay in the middle of my empty bed, my heavy bed spread warming my body comfortingly.

Next thing I knew, my door was opening, BANG, it hits the wall behind it.

And I knew it was my youngest baby, wandering into my room like she always does in the morning.

She's my alarm.

Two little messy buns are the only thing I see as they move around my bed.

"Dada!" little Miss Gracie appears, and I move myself to the edge to be able to greet her.

My baby girl is 3 years old, almost 4, and she's my little princess — all of them are.

"Hi princess! Good morning," I pick her up and smother her in kisses, cuddling her into my chest.

"How did you sleep?" I ask, moving away her soft hair that's gone down into her eyes.

Her older sister, Allie, gave baby Gracie here bangs one day I was at work.

"Good. I hungry, now." She tells me, putting her palm right against my beard, she likes the friction it causes which tickles her.

"Oh I bet," I chuckle, and give her another big kiss on her cute little cheek.

It's another day of being a director, I used to be an actor, but ever since my ex wife skipped town with her new boyfriend and left me with our daughters, I had to cut down on my acting career.

So I made the switch to directing full time.

I hear giggling outside my room, and I look towards the open door, I see some fingers wrapped around the near the door hinge.

"Good Morning, CJ." I say in a song like voice, greeting my third child.

Who's actually the most craziest out of all of them. I thought it'd be Gracie, but she's an angel. So sweet, and loving.

"Good Morning, Chris Senior," CJ wanders in, wearing her hat, which used to be mine but she loved it so much, I decided to just give it to her.

She holds something behind her back, as she approaches my bed. She's in her night gown, the same one that Gracie had, which my mom bought for them.

"Honey...what have we talked about," I pour at her giving her stern eyes.

CJ's name is actually Christina Jane, and I've recently told her that too, because we call her CJ so much she actually thought that was her name.

But CJ thinks I'm lying and thinks her name is actually Chris Jr. And I swear it's not.

But her little 7 year old brain thinks that way. So now she calls me Chris Senior.

CJ groans, throwing her head back, "that you're not Christopher Senior, you're just Dad."

"I'm just dad, that's right," I praise her, "now what do you have behind your back?"

"Our new pet!" CJ exclaims.

Before I can even hear what she's saying she unleashed a furry little thing on my bed, and it scurried around, Gracie screaming, I launch myself up standing tall on my bed holding Gracie.

"CJ! CJ? WHAT IS THAT?!" I shout, as I look frantically to where that thing is.

"He's friendly Dad, I promise!" CJ explains, getting onto the ground to look for the furry animal.
