In a mystical land far away, where animals could speak and the sunsets were something out of a movie, the forests was enchanted and the people of this fairytale land loved their beloved King and his daughter, the Princess.

After the queen passed long ago, the people of the land have been grieving, it's been years since the King has been seen, even the Princess for that matter.

"Daddy, are you sure there's a princess that lives up there?" The young little boy holds tight to his father's hand. The two were off to buy more bread, for dinner.

It's the one thing that lasted for days and was just enough for their little family.

"Yes son," the father confirms as they move past the palace and into the street market.

"Is she my age?" The boy wonders, keeping his eyes up in order to avoid bumping into others.

"No, son," the father recalls the last he saw the princess, holding hands with her mother at one of the festivals a few days before the Queen passed.

"The Princess is a young woman by now," the father approaches the bakery stand and asks for a basket of their fresh bread.

"So I can't marry her?" The boy frowns, and looks down at his feet, there goes his chance of seeing the palace inside.

The father chuckles and taps his sons head, the baker returns and says a much higher price, much higher than he can afford, a distressed crease appears in the tired man's forehead, looking into his son's hungry eyes.

"I thought, I thought the basket of bread was much lower."

"Flour has gone up. Basket of bread goes up."

The man gulps, accepting the truth and walks away, "come on son, we'll find something else to eat."

The boy looks at the steam coming up off the bread, it must be so warm, and so good to eat with some hot chocolate that Mama makes.

"You must be hungry," a girl appears with a sad tone to her voice and hands the boy a fresh piece of bread, a scarf covering her entire head, and part of her face, "here, go ahead, it's all right."

"Son!" The boy's father calls to him through the crowd of people, the boy smiles at you and runs into the moving hurd of people, disappearing.

"You better pay for that bread Miss, or I'll have to call the guards," The baker angrily growls at you, in which you gulp, you forget beyond the doors of the palace you must pay for your own things.

"I-I don't have any money," you also remember when escaping the palace, you did not bring anything with you, except your mother's ring.

"This will do," he grabs your wrist and yanks the gold ring off your finger, your finger left throbbing from the sudden pain.

"Jared! What seems to be the problem here?" A young boy appears by your side, with a monkey sitting comfortably on his shoulder, "this is my cousin, can't you show a little respect?"

"I knew she'd be related to a thief like you, Shea, your cousin owes me one fresh bread. And I just got her payment," Jared shines the pure gold ring into the air.

"Thief?" The brown haired and blue eyed guy gasps, completely shocked, "I don't know about that word, Jared," the monkey crawls off his shoulder and in one quick movement disappears.
