"He's kidnapping these girls!!! Hurry and rescue them!!" Kiyo cried as Uzui gritted his teeth.
"I need female corps members for my mission! These two aren't tsugukos so I don't need permission to take them with me!!" The hashira barked back.
"This is enough Uzui! Return those girls to me at once! I've tolerated this disrespect long enough!" Kanae's uncharacteristic anger had began to boil over which surprised everyone there, Uzui included.
She was always so kind and gentle, never failing to smile. But right now she looked incredibly pissed off and looked like she was going to kill someone.
"Damn....I didn't even know Kanae-Sensei could get angry!" You thought to yourself as you heard Tanjiro run up towards the sound hashira to try and headbutt him.
However, Uzui was too quick and zipped away so fast that it looked like he just disappeared. Kanao managed to catch Sumi and shielded her as they fell, whereas Kiyo fell on Nezuko's box.
"Did you really think I would fall for one of your pissant headbutts?! I am Tengen Uzui, sound hashira and a man known around here for his resplendency!" The sound hashira announced from atop the wall.
"Personally couldn't care less to be honest! Let those girls go!" You yelled as a vein popped in Uzui's forehead.
"SHOW SOME RESPECT!! I'M A HASHIRA DAMNIT!!!" He barked.
"HARD TO DO THAT WHEN YOU'RE GOING ABOUT KIDNAPPING PEOPLE!!!!" You yelled back.
"I NEED THESE FEMALE CORPS MEMBERS FOR A MISSION!! AND I DON'T NEED PERMISSION EITHER!!!" Uzui repeated.
"Naho isn't even a member of the corps!! Look she's not even wearing the uniform!!!" Kiyo pointed out and everything was silent for a few moments as Uzui examined a terrified Naho.
"....nevermind then." He said before tossing her away, prompting Tanjiro to quickly jump in and catch her.
"WHAT KIND OF BRUTE JUST THROWS PEOPLE?!" A shocked and pissed off Tanjiro exclaimed.
"WAAAAHHH!! H-HE DROPPED ME HARD!!!" Naho cried as you walked over and gently pat her on the head.
"Well I'll still be taking this one with me. Not that she looks very strong anyway." Uzui said, still set on taking Aoi with him.
As you stepped up, you heard Aoi whimpering quietly. Either from what Uzui just said or the situation as a whole, you didn't care.
No one upset the people you cared about.
"Everyone is strong in their own way! Don't be so insensitive like that!" You said as you narrowed your eyes.
"Give. Her. Back." You said through gritted teeth as you clenched your fists tightly.
"Good grief you're all lame. No wonder the demon slayer corps is getting weaker." Uzui scoffed.
"We shall go in Aoi's place!" Tanjiro suddenly stepped forward in front of you, gaining Uzui's attention.
"And who is 'we' exactly?" He asked just as Inosuke and Zenitsa appeared on the wall from either side of him.
They jumped down and landed on either side of Tanjiro.
"I might've just finished my last mission, but I'm ready to go!! Bring it to me!!!" Inosuke laughed like a madman.
"Y-y-you l-l-let Aoi go right now! I-I-I'm not gonna back down!" Zenitsa tried her hardest to be brave and stand up to the hashira, but she was easily intimidated by him.
You admired her bravery though.
Uzui sighed and finally relented. "Fine. Looks like I'll take you three with me instead. But only if you obey my every command!"
