"Evans, you're looking radiant this evening." James grinned, taking his seat next to her, the tables were now safely on the ground.

She rolled her eyes, turning to face him. "Can't you go back to not talking to anyone?"

"Now, what fun was that?"

"Now you guys are friends again, you're planning more pranks right?" Mary asked.

"Mary, you got scared of the last one." Marlene laughed at her.

"I thought it was an earthquake, have you ever experienced one?"

"No, have you?"

Mary shook her head. "No, but that's what I expect it to be like, it's like in the wizard of Oz, everything rose up and went inside the tornado, I felt like Dorothy."

"Who the hell is Dorothy?" Dorcas asked.

Marlene laughed at the two shaking her head.

Opal felt a foot kick her lightly, she looked up at Sirius who gave her a small smirk, she kicked back raising her eyebrows.

He pretended it hurt pulling a face before he caught Dorcas' eyes who was watching the two with a confused face.

"She just kicked me." Sirius pointed at Opal.

"You're such a snitch, no I didn't."

"Yes, you did. I have the bruise to prove it."

"You're so full of shit, Black." she scowled.

"Love me too."

Dorcas stared at the two then turned away.

Later that night Opal lay awake in the boys dorm in the spare bed, they had been catching up for the past couple of hours and now they were all sleeping. Opal looked towards Sirius' bed. His light was still on.

She crept over carefully walking past James' bed so as not to wake him, she pulled Sirius' curtains slightly, he looked up at her.

"You alright?" he asked, she nodded, getting in next to him. "What are you doing? We're going to get caught."

"Shh." she shushed him, putting her finger on his lips. She took out her wand casting the muffliato charm around the bed so they couldn't be heard. "What's life without a little risk?"

He smirked at her. "Wait a moment." he picked up his wand, closing the curtains casting a charm to jam them shut so they couldn't be opened. "Now we're safe."

Opal smiled, laying next to him.

"I couldn't sleep." she said, as he wrapped his arm around her.

"Yeah, same." he replied,

Opal looked up at the ceiling. "Oh wow, did you do those yourself?" she asked, the wood panel on top of his bed was painted blue with several gold constellations.

Sirius nodded. "The first thing they teach you in the Noble House of Black- well that and blood purity but I ignore that bit. I painted it back in first year when I didn't want to do my astrology homework." he pointed up at them. "That one is called Puppis, one of my favourites, mainly because the other name is the Poop Deck. When mother told us, Reg and I couldn't stop laughing."

"You children." Opal laughed.

"We were at the time. Then that one is the Monoceros, the unicorn which is next to my other favourite, Canis Major." he said, still pointing at the drawings.
