"Oh Sirius, you're so funny!" Sarah giggled, she lent her head on his shoulders as he spoke to her, the two sat opposite James and Remus during breakfast. A few seats away from them Opal sat by herself writing her muggle studies essay, trying to drown their voices out.Peter walked into the Great hall taking a look at Sirius and Sarah; who were now kissing, then looked at Opal, he gave her a confused expression as he sat down next to her.
"You two are really taking the hiding to a whole other level."
"We're not hiding." Opal said, dipping her quill into the ink pot. "I broke it off with him."
"Oh, wait what?" Peter asked, his face screwed up as he watched James laugh at a joke Sarah said. "Tell me didn't break it off because of James."
She didn't answer him.
"Opal, you can't make everyone happy. It's not fair on you, just because James can't wrap his head around you being together it shouldn't stop you from what you want."
"It doesn't matter now." Opal shrugged glancing at Sirius, he wrapped his arms around Sarah while she ran her fingers through his hair. "He's already moved on."
Peter looked at her. "You really think he's moved on with Sarah? The girl he's hated since their first interaction?"
"Yes I do."
Peter rolled his eyes, sighing. "You are both so stubborn, he's only 'dating' her to make you jealous."
"Well it's not working because I am not jealous."
"You are a shit liar, and your hair turns a horrible shade of yellow when you do lie." Peter said as Opal grasped the ends of her hair.
"Stop looking at my hair." she snapped. "I really don't care about them, he can date whoever he likes."
Peter started to talk but was cut off by James calling them across the table. "Oi, Worms, Blaze, we're gonna have a little party in the boys dorm later tonight, our last night of freedom before the exams, get the girls to come, yeah?"
"As long as you don't bother Lily." Opal managed to joke.
"Can't promise anything." James smirked.
Opal turned back to Peter. "Stop looking at me like that."
"I'm just thinking that you could try and make Sirius jealous-"
"No, I'm not doing that."
"Well if you did, I'll be here scheming a plan."
Opal rolled her eyes, looking back down at her homework.

"If Potter talks to me I'm leaving."
"Then you may as well not come up to the boys dorm." Dorcas said, as the girls walked up stairs.
"Evans." James smiled as they walked in, Lily turned around to leave but Mary took her arm.
"Come on, sit with me." she said, sitting down on the floor, the boys had pushed their beds against the wall putting pillows and blankets in the middle for them to sit on, they had laid out a few drinks and there was a medium sized cauldron filled with black bubbling liquid next to the cups.
Opal looked around the dorm, noticing Sirius wasn't there.
"He's trying to sneak Sarah in from the Ravenclaw tower." Peter said to her as she sat down next to him.
"Doubt she'll be able to get through the portrait–"
"We did it, lads!" Sirius cheered as he walked in with Sarah, they took a seat opposite Opal and Peter, there weren't enough cushions so Sarah had to sit on Sirius' lap.
