"Why won't you just tell me who it is?" Opal groaned, Remus and Lily refused to tell her who the person was, despite it being almost two weeks later. "It can be an early birthday present."

"I guess we could give you a clue." Lily said, smirking at Remus.

"Ooh I have one." Remus teased. "The mysterious masker has a brother."

Opal stared at him. "Literally everyone has a brother."

"I'm an only child."

"I have a sister."

"Yeah, that wasn't a good point, I have three sisters."

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY OPAL!" Lily shouted as the girls jumped onto Opal's bed.

"Happy birthday." she mumbled, rubbing her eyes.

"That's not how that works." Dorcas snickered.

Opal looked towards the clock. "Lessons don't start for two hours, let me sleep."

"We got you a present, it's from all of us." Lily said, handing her a little box. She opened it and took out an opal charm bracelet.

"We know it's a little cliché but we can't go wrong with a bit of opal." Marlene said. "We were going to address it from Mysterious Masker but Lily told us we're not allowed."

"Do you all of you know who it is?"

"Yes, but I forgot." Mary laughed. "All I know is that he has grey eyes."

"Same."

"Your parents sent your presents." Lily said, handing her a parcel

Opal opened a large lemon cake.

"Oh I love your mothers cakes." Marlene said, licking her lips.

There was a money bag with a few gold galleons in it with a little note from her mother.

The dorm room door opened and Aoife walked in wearing her Quidditch robes, Dorcas screamed covering her face with her robes.

"Wings, teams downstairs for practice." she said, glancing towards Dorcas for a second before turning back to Opal.

"There's practice today?" Opal asked. "Our match isn't until next month."

"We're facing Slytherin, Flint is making his team train more." Aoife said. "Get your kit on and meet us down at the pitch." She left the dorm and Dorcas uncovered her face.

"That was a close one, did she see me?"

"Covering your face with your robe? Yes Cas, she did." Marlene laughed.

Opal lied back on her bed. "Maybe I should quit the team, these early mornings are killing me."

"No, you can't quit. You're the only reason I watch the games." Lily said. "Come on, get ready."

Opal got changed, picking up her broom.

"We'll come down and watch." Dorcas said.

"You just want to see Aoife again."

Dorcas nodded, fixing her hair in the mirror. The girls walked down to the pitch, Opal left them to go into the cloak room, which was vacant. She assumed they were already on the pitch waiting for her, but as she flew onto the field it was also empty.
