Remus groaned stressfully as he looked through his stash of chocolates.

"Who took my bloody snickers!" he sighed.

"I might have done-"

"Padfoot!"

"I'm sorry, it looked really nice- you have loads of chocolate in there-"

"Yes, but no snickers- I've got a massive headache and the full moons coming up and these exams are not helping and I'm not even gonna be able to use these goddamn grades because no one will hire a bloody werewolf." he face planted onto the sofa and groaned loudly.

Sirius checked the calendar. "The full moon is two weeks away-"

"This is a midlife crisis."

"You're only eighteen-"

"I'm not making it to my late thirties anyway-"

Lily walked into the common room, red faced, huffing and puffing in anger, throwing her bag onto the sofa next to James.

"You alright, love?" he asked.

"Petunia's getting married, on Saturday– this Saturday– in two days! She's given me two days notice, two fucking days-"

Opal glanced at Sirius, it was very rare that Lily would swear, even out of anger.

"How am I supposed to find a dress in two days– who gives their sister two days' notice!"

"She isn't getting married to that drill guy is she?" James asked, stroking her head.

"That's exactly who she's getting married to."

Opal remembered James telling them about the awkward double date they had in December.

"I reckon my mum scolded her to invite me. I don't even want to go now." Lily groaned.

"It's alright, I'll be by your side," James said.

"Can you bring more than one person?" Sirius asked, intrigued. "I'd like to see what a muggle wedding is like, I've only really been to my families which are a very good family affair aha," he sighed heavily.

"I don't see why not," Lily said, "I'll owl my mum and let her know you're coming, you too Opes?"

"Sure, why not, it will get me off doing my potions homework. I really hate potions."

"What's wrong with Remus?" Lily asked, watching as Remus groaned once again.

"He's just resting." James said, "His usual."

Saturday morning arrived quickly, Lily, James, Opal and Sirius had stayed round Friday night at Lily's parents house.

The entire house bustled with muggle music playing over the speakers, to which Mrs Evans had been singing along to all morning, whilst Mr Evans faked being annoyed but Opal saw him tapping his foot at breakfast.

Petunia hadn't said a word to her sister all morning, a few glares here and there, but she stayed beside Vernon's sister, Marge.

An hour before they were due to leave for the venue Lily had perked up considerably.

"You're happy," Sirius said.

"I've just seen the bridesmaid dresses and do you know what? I'm not sad that I'm not a bridesmaid."

"Are they that bad?" Opal grimaced.

"Salmon. With Snow White sort of puffy sleeves."

"Salmon and white?" James cringed.
