Madam Pomfrey had let Opal leave the hospital wing after several tests that had cleared any werewolf symptoms. The last evening Aoife Wood held a huge party in the common room to celebrate winning the Quidditch and house cup.The morning before the train left Opal was packing the rest of her things in her trunk.
"Saw the boys aren't talking to Sirius again, what's up with that?" Mary asked, sitting down on her bed, she had been the first to finish packing and was watching the other girls.
Opal shrugged. "You know the boys, they always have a bit of drama at the end of the year."
She hadn't been able to speak to him, he had been avoiding her, the boys had told her about the row between him and Remus. Sirius had stayed in his bed for the past couple of days with his curtains jammed shut, Opal and James had both tried to get him to open them up but they had no luck.
"Mary. Help." Dorcas said, sitting on her very full trunk attempting to close it.
"Gosh, Cas, how much stuff do you need?" Lily asked, as Mary sat next to Dorcas, the trunk didn't budge with the extra weight.
"You do realise you two are witches right?" Marlene said.
Dorcas laughed. "Yeah, yeah. I forgot." she took out her wand and pointed towards her trunk. She looked at it for a few moments. "Close."
Mary and Opal burst out laughing. "Dorcas, that's not a spell." Mary wheezed.
"Well I don't know the spell! Do you?"
Lily aimed her wand. "Prope truncum."
The trunk closed promptly. Dorcas smiled at her. "This is why I love you, Lils."
"I know, Cas.""What are you going to do when you have to pack to come back here?" Opal asked.
"That is my mother's problem, not mine, I can't use magic."
"Oh! I forgot to tell you, my mum has probably sent your parents letters but she's invited all of you to a barbeque during the summer." Marlene said, folding up her robes. "My grandad showed my dad how to use the muggle barbeque thing last year and now he's excited to host his own."
"Sounds like fun!" Mary said.
"I assume the boys will be at yours." Marlene asked Opal, she nodded in response.
"Yeah, most likely."
Emerald poked her head into the dorms. "Trains leaving in a bit girls! Start taking your trunks downstairs."

Opal found the boys minus Sirius on the train just as it pulled out of Hogsmeade, she sat down next to Peter who was taking a pack of exploding snap cards out of his bag.
"Oh, I didn't tell you guys." James said, pulling a guitar from the overhead storage. "I wrote a song for Lily."
Opal, Peter and Remus stared at him in confusion.
"Where did you get a guitar from?" Opal asked, but he ignored her strumming a tune on the instrument, he began singing off-key.
"Stop, stop. No." Opal said, taking the guitar away from him. "I will not let you sing that to her."
"What? Why not?" James asked, sulking.
"Those are terrible lyrics." Peter laughed.
"Also your singing isn't that great."
"Oh yeah, you do better Moony."
"You know this, Lupin can't sing." Remus said, taking the cards Peter gave him.
