Chapter Thirty Five: Back To Hogwarts

Summer was almost at an end, Remus and Peter had gone back home for the rest of their holidays, Remus had spoken to Sirius but he hadn't completely forgiven him for that night. Euphemia and Fleamont had taken Sirius to Diagon Alley for new robes for the school year, a week after his arrival Sirius' belongings appeared on the doorstep so he didn't have to keep borrowing James' clothes.

"You three better have your trunks ready!" Celestine said she walked into the dining room where James and Opal were playing Gobstones with Sirius watching them.

"Yeah, mine's all packed."

"Opal." Celestine opted for the mother glare.

Opal rolled her eyes, throwing one of the marbles on James' side making the foul liquid squirt onto his face.

"Eurgh." he squirmed, wiping off the mess.

"I win." Opal said, getting up from her seat and walking up to her bedroom, she took out her trunk from under her bed and started packing her clothes. There was a light tap on the door as her mother walked in.

"I can't believe you're going into sixth year." she said, sitting down on Opal's bed. "I remember when you were a baby, and I held you in my arms."

"Mum." Opal groaned, rolling her eyes slightly.

"You were so tiny and now you've grown into a beautiful woman, and now that you're older you're going to being doing new stuff, especially now you have a boyfriend-"

Opal's eyes widened as she realised what her mother was talking about. "No, no, no, we are not having this chat."

"We're going to have to talk about this soon, you're leaving tomorrow."

"No, mum please."

"I did the same with your sisters and when Ruby is old enough I'll do the same."

"I am all good."

"It's either me, your father or James."

Opal furrowed her brows. "How is James an option?"

Celestine shrugged. "I think he would take it seriously."

"Please, he would only refer to it as bedroom Quidditch." Opal said, making Celestine laugh.

"I just want you to be safe."

"Do not worry about me mother, I am fine."

"I don't want any little Opal and Sirius' running-"

"Out now!"

First day of term was about to begin, everyone had gotten to Platform 9 ¾ before the train left, Killian had said goodbye early that morning to get to Hogwarts before the students arrived.

They had caught a glimpse of Walburga and Orion but the two had turned up their noses at the group.

"Be good this year kids." Fleamont said, as they boarded the train.

"I'm sure Killian will be sending letters about your behaviour." Euphemia laughed.

"We'll just have to be sneakier." James told them.

"I hope not. Alright Ruby, say goodbye." Celestine said, holding up Ruby's hand and waving it.

"Bye Rubes!" Opal waved back at her sister as the train started departing.

"Let's go find Moony and Worms." Sirius said, they made their way down the passageway.

"Opal!" Marlene's voice came from one of the compartments, she turned and saw all the girls sitting on the seats.
