14th July 1979"I need cockroach clusters, right now." Opal called out from the sofa.
"You hate cockroach clusters-"
"Sirius, do not question me right now, if I don't get them I will turn into your worst nightmare."
Sirius rolled his eyes. "You are being very dramatic," he said, handing the bag to her.
He cringed as he watched her eat them.
"I have pregnancy cravings," she said, biting into another one. "But at least it's a normal thing, Molly was telling me she used to crave sauerkraut and Nutella sandwiches when she was pregnant with Percy, Arthur found the jar while he went out on an adventure to I think it's called Tesco."
"Ew," Sirius squirmed.
"Actually that sounds pretty appetising right now,"
"No, I will let you have all the cockroach clusters in the entire world, but you are not eating that vile sandwich,"
Opal grinned. "Too late."
"For Merlin's sake," he shook his head.
"I'm kidding," she said, then turned to him. "I'm not, Remus already has some Nutella, all you have to do is go and get some sauerkraut-"
"No-"
"Sirius, I am carrying your child." she sulked, tilting her head.
"Fine. But I'm not making it."
"Okay," she said, grinning brightly as he grabbed his cloak. "Thank you, love you!" she called out as he left the flat.
She went back to eating the cockroach clusters when she heard movement from Remus' room.
"Remus? You okay?" she called out.
"Yeah, yeah-" he replied, she walked over to his door, looking through the gap.
Her brows furrowed as she noticed it was all tidy, and his shelves were empty.
"Are you going somewhere?" she asked.
Remus scratched behind his neck. "Uh, I just thought with the baby coming, you and Sirius would want your own space,"
"You don't have to go anywhere, Moons. You moved out with us, we're not going to kick you out because of the baby," Opal said, "...It's not because I keep eating your Nutella? I can get some more next time we-"
"No... it's not that- well I mean please stop eating my Nutella-"
Opal saluted, "This will be the last time. But what's up?"
"It's too dangerous for me to be around a baby," he said, sheepishly.
Her smile faded. "You think I don't want you around the baby because you're a werewolf?" she asked.
Remus didn't answer, but he gave a small nod.
"Remus, you are not dangerous," she said softly,
"You don't mean that-"
"Yes I do, Remus you have never hurt anyone with intention. It's once a month, the baby won't even know about your lycanthropy until they are older, so you don't have to go anywhere."
He let out a small breath. "Are you sure?"
"Three hundred and ten percent. You're family, Remus, you always will be." she told him, "Plus I was counting on you, me and Sirius are shit at this whole teaching stuff and that, we need this one to be a smarty pants, just like you."
