Saturday arrived, Opal was in her dorm getting ready for the Hogsmeade trip, she assumed Sirius was doing the same thing.

"So you're going with Duncan?" Dorcas asked.

"Yes, Cas. I've told you this how many times? We're only going to Hogsmeade."

"I just thought- never mind." she trailed off, walking into the bathroom.

Opal sighed, putting on her shoes, walking down to the common room, where Duncan waited for her.

"Are you ready?" he asked.

She nodded, they made their way down to Hogsmeade, laughing and joking the entire way down.
"I actually can't believe you almost burnt the school down." Duncan said in astonishment.

She nodded. "That is why Slughorn never lets me work alone, but it's his own fault for putting the potions next to me, and then Sirius dared me to mix them so it's also his fault."

"I see it's not your best subject then?"

"Nah, I hate potions, much rather do defence against the dark arts."

Duncan nodded in agreement. "That and herbology, can't go wrong with Professor Sprout."

As they walked down the busy street they bumped into James and Peter, Peter had been told not to mention anything to James.

"Hey, how's your date going?" James asked.

Opal nodded. "Fine, James."

"Are you excited for your reservation?"

She looked at Duncan. "What reservation?"

"Madam Puddifoot's tea shop." Peter said, with a small smirk "Sirius suggested it to Duncan last night."

I'm going to kill him.

"Madam Puddifoot's?" Opal asked, forcing a smile.

"You know the little tea shop-"

"I know what it is, Pete." she said, trying to hide her disgust.

"With the little bows-"

"Anyway it was nice bumping into you guys, good bye." Opal said, taking Duncan's arm and walking away. "They're so annoying."

"Ooh, after the tea shop we should head up to the shrieking shack." Duncan said, looking at the hanging sign. Opal nodded as they walked up to Madam Puddifoot's. "It's strange, in my first year the shack wasn't even that scary and then suddenly in my second year it was dubbed the most haunted house in Britain."

"Oh really?" she said, thinking how she goes up there every month whilst her best friend transforms into a werewolf.

"Yeah, and I don't get why they say it's haunted, we have ghosts at Hogwarts."

"Yeah but those are evil ghosts, we have nice ghosts, like Moaning Myrtle and Nearly Headless Nick" Opal said, as they stopped in front of the tea shop.

The cafe was decorated in different shades of thrilly pink bows, as they walked in the shop smelt like sweet vanilla that made Opal feel sick. A plump lady with her hair tied up in a slick bun walked over to them with a smile.

"Welcome, welcome. I'm Madam Puddifoot, reservation for Chang?" she asked.

Duncan nodded, she picked up two menus leading them to a booth.

"Would you like to order now?"

"Yeah, can I get a tea?"

"Of course, and for you dear?" Madam Puddifoot looked at Opal.
