Jisung's POV:
"Oh my god!" Minho and I both heard Yongbok scream in the other room. Being the protective brother he is, he bolted out of bed and into his room as I followed.
"Yongbokie, are you okay?" Minho rushed over to him, afraid something was wrong, but he just handed him his phone. "Oh my god." Minho then looked up at me and smirked.
"What?" I'm so lost.
"Me and Hyunjin are hanging out tomorrow after school." Yongbok squealed.
"Oh my god!" I gasped. "What are you guys gonna do?"
"I have no idea." He shrugged.
I'm sure Hyunjin has absolutely no idea what he's doing, but I'm proud of him for trying. Unless this was Wooyoung's doing...yeah, it definitely was.
"Okay, thank god you're okay." Minho stood up and shook his hand over Yongbok's head to mess with his hair. "I got nervous."
"I'm sorry." His cheeks went red. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight." We both responded and went back to Minho's room.
I could tell he was slightly irritated.
"Get off the Hyunjin hate train, honey. It's happening." I sang, rolling on top of him.
"I swear, Jisung." He shook his head, reaching up to give me a kiss. "If Hyunjin messes with him, I'm going to-"
"He won't." I gave him a reassuring kiss. "I've known Hyunjin for a very long time. If there's anyone in this world that is fit for Yongbokie, it's him."
"What makes you so sure?"
"Quiet, stays out of trouble, artsy, one of those that laughs at everything, good listener, always answers my calls whenever I need him. Never had a boyfriend before."
"That kid? Hyunjin? Seriously?"
"Oh, yeah." I nodded. "Never had a boyfriend, virgin. Don't think he's even kissed anyone either."
"If I'm being honest, I expected him to be a bit of a player."
"Because he looks like a model?"
Minho rolled his eyes. "He's not that good looking, Jisung."
"Minho, you know it's true."
"Whatever. He's not better looking than me though."
"Of course not." I smiled. "No one is."
"That's what I thought." Minho started to tickle my sides, "do me a favor?" I couldn't answer from all the laughing. "Don't tell me you think other guys look like 'models', okay?"
"Okay," I was out of breath, trying my best to respond, "okay. I'm sorry. You know I only have eyes for you, baby."
"I know." He said sweetly. "But I'm just letting you know."
Minho was aggressive with everyone other than me and Yongbok. Our conversation was a prime example. This easily could've upset someone. I see that now. He could've started a fight. Anything. But of course, he's calm and understanding.
"You're so hot, Minho." I started to pepper kisses all over his face. "So sexy." He laughed, holding me in place on top of him. "My baby!" Then I pressed my lips to his, putting my hands on his cheeks.
"So cute." He pulled away and smiled. I could tell he wanted to say more. I've felt that tension a few times within the last two months. It's not that I don't feel that way, I'm just scared.
He lowered my head into the crook of his neck and kissed the top of my ear.
"What do you wanna do for your birthday?" I changed the subject, playing with his hair.
"We can go out somewhere. Just you and me."
"I think Yongbok wanted to have a party."
"He better think again."
"I don't think it'll be too bad. It can be a Halloween party."
"That requires so much work that I'm not interested in contributing to."
He was never the partying type. I mean the only party he ever went to was San's because I was going to be there.
"When have you ever said no to Yongbokie?"
"I'm going to shove tissues in his mouth, I swear." He groaned. "Yongbok-ah!" He shouted, nearly bursting my eardrum. But within a few seconds, Yongbok came into the room. "You wanted to have a party for my birthday?"
He gasped. "Jisung," he whined, "it was supposed to be a surprise."
"I'm so sorry." I slapped my hand over my mouth, feeling beyond guilty.
"Lee Know, I promise it wasn't gonna be a big deal or anything."
"How many people?" Minho asked. He knew Yongbok meant well, but he also knew it could get out of hand.
"Like 20...maybe 70."
"What about mom and dad?" Yongbok put his hands under his chin and batted his eyelashes. "I see." Minho laughed. Their parents will do anything Yongbok wants. Anything. They look at him as the perfect child. Everyone loves him, he's a ball of sunshine, he's cute as can be, and he's also the baby of the house. Oh, and the fact that he's adopted which I now know. That just brings it all together.
"Are you gonna invite Hyunjin?" I smirked. He started to blush. "Are you guys still talking?" He nodded. "About what?"
"Stuff." He mumbled.
"Stuff?" Minho didn't seem too happy.
"Relax." I pushed him back down on the bed. "You act as if he's a kid. We're one day apart."
"You think I wouldn't act this way if someone I didn't know was talking to you?" He laughed in disbelief. "Guess again, Hannie. Anyone who messes with you two are asking for a death wish."
"Alright, alright." Yongbok was slowly leaving the room. "We will talk about this more tomorrow, okay? Goodnight."
"Goodnight, again." I laughed, laying back into Minho's arms. "You're so uptight." I playfully smacked his arm.
"I'm just protective."
"He can handle himself. So can I."
"I know you can, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to protect you both."
"We'll always be okay. I promise."
