Felix's POV:

Hyunjin was right there at his locker. He would know if I went up to him that I made an effort to get here since my locker is in the sophomore wing.

"Just do it." I jumped in fear, taking me out of my thoughts.

"Beomgyu, you scared the shit out of me."

"Good." He got right in my face menacingly with a huge smile. "You kissed last time you saw him, did you not?"

"I am not kissing him now, are you crazy?"

"You don't have to." He started to push me towards him. "Just say hi, that's all."

"But he hasn't even talked to me."

"Did you unblock him?"

"Of course I did."

"Did you text him?"

"No." I mumbled.

"And you expect him to text you first after everything? Jeez, and I thought I was the dumb one here." I was about five inches away from him at this point. "Good luck." Beomgyu whispered in my ear before running away.

Hyunjin closed his locker and turned around, having the same reaction I had earlier because of Beomgyu.

"Hey." Hyunjin bit his lip, seeming incredibly shy.

"Hi." I, on the other hand, was biting my lip to force down my smile. "How are you?"

"I'm okay." He nodded. "How are you?"

"I'm okay." I nodded as well, letting the smile break loose just a little.

I felt like I was looking at a stranger. It had been so long since we stood in front of each other like this. Part of me was anxious, I knew that from the constant hand tremors. The other part of me wished I could just kiss him right here and now.

Each passing day when he was gone, I forgave him and worked on forgiving myself. I felt like a clean slate was in store for us.

"So what's up?" He awkwardly laughed, having no clue what to say. I'm just as clueless as him honestly.

"Nothing much." I shrugged. "How's Kkami?"

"He's good!" He beamed. I know how much he missed his dog. That's probably the only good thing about being in that house right now.

"And your parents?"

"They're good too." He was less enthusiastic, but still seemed happy. "I'm trying to convince my mom to let me go blonde again."

"Really?" I smiled.

"Yeah, but she said I have to keep it short."

"Honestly, I've really been liking the short hair."

"You don't think it makes me look like a little kid?" He whined playfully.

"It definitely makes you look younger. But a lot less intimidating, that's for sure."

"I liked being intimidating. People left me alone." He laughed. I somewhat found comfort knowing he wanted to be by himself. No more bad crowds or random people all for the sake of fitting in.

"Get the blonde and hide the scissors." Smiles seemed permanently glued on our faces as we started to walk down the hallway together. I knew Minho and Jisung were waiting for me, but if they saw what was taking me so long, they wouldn't mind in the slightest bit.

"I just might. I didn't realize how much I missed the long hair until a couple days ago. It's only been short for a three months."

"I think you look amazing with both so either works no matter what." It didn't even feel like flirting. It was a natural Felix and Hyunjin conversation. Maybe I was just excited to see him or I was falling all over again.

"You're keeping the blonde forever now, right?" He looked at me and messed up my hair with his hand. I felt my heart racing at the unexpected contact.

"Why should I?"

"Because it's the Felix brand." He explained. "You just look so perfect with blonde hair, it has to stay forever."

"Oh, so because it's your favorite, it has to stay?" I laughed.

"Yeah, I thought that was pretty clear." He said it in such a way that I was supposed to know it was obvious.

We walked out to the student parking lot, but I really didn't want to leave him.

"I'll see you around, Felix." He waved.

"Wait!" I hugged him tight, not wanting to let go. He slowly returned the gesture, completely shocked by my actions. "I missed you." I whispered, loosening my grip so I didn't hurt him.

"Well I'm here now." Something as small as not saying he also missed me was painful, but this is what I need to expect. He pulled away from my grip and had the biggest smile. I loved seeing him happy. "You should text me later."

"Okay." That definitely lifted my spirits though. "Bye." I waved.

"Goodbye, Lixie."

We parted ways and I was still trying to process what had just happened. I looked for Minho's car only to find him and Jisung peeking their heads up.

"Did you guys watch us the whole time?" I laughed as they nodded. "He told me to text him."

"What if he wants to hang out?" Jisung was getting excited.

"You're not allowed in his house." Minho was stern. "If you're going to see him, you can anywhere except there."

Something happened yesterday. Usually he comes into my room every night to check on me, but instead he came home with Jisung and went straight to his room. He usually never makes him sleep over when we have school the next day.

I know he was with Hyunjin, but only because his parents invited him. I thought that was strange. He didn't tell me any details either. Not even how he was doing. Weird.
