Wooyoung's POV:
"Merry Christmas, Sannie." I smiled, tracing patterns on his bare chest. I convinced him to spend the holiday with me rather than his dad. No need to endure torture on Christmas.
"Merry Christmas, Wooyoungie." He pulled me on top of him and started to rub my back. I wanted to stay in his arms forever.
"Woo!" Kyungmin shouted, banging on my door. "We're opening presents!"
Already? What time is it?
I searched around my bed for my phone, face down in San's chest. I magically felt it in my hand meaning he must've helped.
"Sannie, what time is it?" I was too lazy to turn my head and look at the screen.
"11am."
"That's so early." I whined. He turned me on my back so he could get off the bed.
"Come on, Woo."
"I don't want to yet." I pouted, hiding under the covers.
"Alright, have it your way." He sighed. The cold air suddenly sent shivers through my body once San had rudely pulled the blankets off me. He knew I'd be out for blood so he quickly escaped and aimed for the bathroom.
Soon later, the family was in the living room sitting by the Christmas tree with dozens of presents waiting to be unwrapped. It was a pure, heartwarming moment to witness. Everyone was smiling and showing appreciation for one another. I couldn't be more grateful. It may not be perfect, but they mean the world to me.
"Jinnie, this one is from us." Hyunjin begged me not to get him anything for Christmas this year, but I couldn't let that happen. His reasoning was that he was thankful enough for living with us. Fortunately, we came up with a compromise. One gift.
I bit my lip while watching him open his gift carefully. There was just one last thing that could be replaced after what his parents did.
"Are you serious?" He covered his mouth in shock. It was a brand new Sony Alpha 7 IV camera. "I can't accept this." He shook his head, staring at it in his hands.
"You said one gift." I shrugged.
"Thank you." He was sat next to my mom, making it easier for him to hug her first.
She smiled sweetly and kissed his head. "Love you, sweetheart."
"Love you too." He said, overwhelmingly grateful.
I put my head on San's shoulder, feeling content.
"Alright, my turn!" Kyungmin shouted, grabbing a bigger box. As my younger brother was ripping off the paper, San reached over and picked up a smaller box and handed it to me.
"This is for you." He whispered. "I wasn't sure what to get you so I hope this is okay." He seemed unsure of how I'd react, but I'll love anything that comes from him.
Underneath the wrapping was a small, black box and inside was a silver necklace with a Ruby and a Citrine gemstone intertwined; our birthstones.
"Sannie, I love it." My heart was so full. It was truly beautiful. "Can you put it on me?"
His cheeks were bright red, relieved I loved his gift. He nodded and carefully draped the necklace around my neck.
"You really like it?"
I kissed his cheek, putting my hand in his. "It's beautiful, Sannie. Thank you."
The doorbell rang, taking us out of our trance. Sometimes we can't help but feel like we're the only ones in the room.
"I got it." Hyunjin got off the couch and went to the front door. Who could possibly be ringing our doorbell on Christmas? Shouldn't everyone be home with their families?
