A Weird Coincidence

It was the next day at school and I physically looked like a mess. My blue hair was sticking out in every other direction and my eyes were puffy from crying all night.

"You look like shit, are you okay?" Minho asked as we walked around the track the way we always do.

"Yeah, I just couldn't sleep last night. I had a dream about my parents and I woke up crying."

"Oh jeez, I'm sorry." I felt so guilty talking to Minho. It was obvious he didn't know. He'd never fake a friendship with anyone, especially me after what Felix thinks I've done. "Why isn't Yeosang walking with us today?" I had to swallow my tears thinking about it. Yeosang was one of the sweetest people I've ever met and now he hates me.

"Probably decided to walk with his old group today." I shrugged.

The rest of the period was fine. I suffered but managed. Once it was over, I went straight to my car. I didn't even bother going to my locker. It just reminded me of Felix since he'd always come see me.

"Hyunjin, come here." My mom called once I walked inside. "I made you an appointment."

"For?"

"Your hair."

I actually didn't mind. In fact, I was somewhat surprised and excited. Wooyoung always did my hair and we prayed it wouldn't fall out every time.

"Thank you." I smiled. "When is it?"

"We'll leave in a couple minutes."

I'm sure my parents discussed my blue hair. I don't blame them. It's definitely a bit more outlandish than the red from the last time they saw me.

We made it to the hair salon and I slowly felt my nerves creeping up on me.

"Did you already tell them what I'm getting?" That would be why I was nervous.

"No."

"Okay." I nodded. "You can trust me on this one, I promise." I smiled. If I had it my way, I'd probably end up pink hair, but I know I need to tone it down if I'm going to live with them.

"So what are we doing today?" The hairdresser asked, scratching my head. She seemed nice.

"Short and black."

"That'll suit you so well." She seemed excited herself. "I'll be right back."

The process was very different compared to what Wooyoung used to do. This involved professional tools and treatments that I didn't even know were necessary. I laughed once she said my hair was somewhat fried from all the bleach. But she told me not to worry which was a relief.

"I love it!" I smiled brightly, more satisfied than I thought I'd be. "Thank you so much!"

My mom came over to us and smiled just as big. "You look so handsome!"

"You think so?" I couldn't believe it. She actually had something nice to say. She complimented the way I looked.

"Oh yeah. I was never a fan of the long hair, especially when you started doing all those crazy colors. This is perfect."

Maybe living with them wouldn't be so bad. They must've had a change of heart. Things might be different this time around.

We were on our way home after I made my mom take a couple pictures. I wanted whoever was left in my life to see my new look. It definitely put me in a better mood, that's for sure.

Wooyoung's POV:

"Yup, I knew it was Hongjoong!" I exclaimed, shoving my phone in San's face. Luckily he knew I was going through a rough time so he's been around the way he used to be. I didn't have an issue with him hanging out with his other friends. It was just that the timing sucked because that's when everything with Hyunjin started.

"Why do you keep blocking him and unblocking him?"

"To see when he'll delete his pictures with Felix, but we got this instead."

"He dyed his hair, so what?"

"He dyed his hair, so what?"

"So what? This means someone else did it for him!"

"And are you upset because you wish you did it or because he still has people in his life who care about him enough to do that for him?"

"Both!" This has been absolutely gut wrenching. I can't eat, I'm sick to my stomach. I can't stop crying, I can't sleep. It almost feels like I went through the breakup too, but of course I have my own reasons. No one messes with Felix, I don't care who you are. "It was probably Hongjoong too!" I clicked on Hongjoong's comment to get to his account and gasped. "Sannie, I'm going to throw a tantrum."

"What now?" I knew he was in pain from leg day and usually we just nap those days, but I needed his full attention.

"Look!" I shoved my phone back in his face to show Hongjoong's recent post. "He fucking dyed his hair blue and everything."

"Wow, those are a lot of Hyunjin comments

"Wow, those are a lot of Hyunjin comments." I was beginning to believe he wasn't convinced.

"That's probably where he went too."

I wasn't planning on waking Hyunjin up this morning, but typically we get ready at the same time. So once I stuck my head in his door and saw he wasn't there along with all of his stuff, I broke down crying all over again. My mom won't even talk to me. She's never been mad at me before. Apparently Kyungmin was the only one who got to see him before he left.

"Did you talk to Yunho yet about it?"

"No but I should."

Wooyoung
Can you do me a favor???

Yunho
Huhhhhh

Wooyoung
Don't 'huhhhh' me, say yes

It's important

Yunho
If it involves 'you know who' then I'm out

Wooyoung
No this is about Hongjoong

Yunho
Oh?

Wooyoung
Do you think you could ask him how he feels about Seonghwa? It would be too suspicious if I asked

And could you do it at his house?

Yunho
This is so weird but alright

I slid my phone back in my pocket and took a sigh of relief.

"He'll do it?"

"He'll do it."
