Wooyoung's POV:
I've said since the beginning of my relationship that I'll never be the one to mess up. Oh, how the tables have turned. Here I am speeding to his house because I refuse to say those words for the first time over the damn phone.
I knocked on his front door, praying he'd be the one to answer, but I was wrong. It was his dad. I've never actually seen him before and to say I was intimidated was an understatement.
"And who are you?" He asked aggressively.
"I'm..."
"Speak up, kid!"
"I'm Wooyoung...sir. I just wondering if San was home." I knew he was, but I didn't know how else to approach it.
"He is. You a friend of his?" He raised his eyebrow.
"Yes, sir." I nodded.
He groaned and shouted. "San, you got a friend here." No reply. "San, get the fuck out here now!"
"Alright, I'm coming!" Once San saw me, fear was written all over his face. He walked outside and closed the door for us to talk privately. "What are you doing here?" He stressed.
"I'll leave, I didn't know he'd answer the door." I felt somewhat small and embarrassed, almost as if what I came here for was completely overshadowed.
"I'll come over in a few, alright?" He was visibly annoyed.
"Okay." I whispered. "I'm sorry, I didn't-"
"It's fine." He snapped. "We'll talk later."
I just nodded and went back in my car. When I went to look at him, he was already inside. I bit the inside of my cheek as I drove away, fighting off tears.
"God damn it, can't you just use your brain once?" I thought to myself. "Just one time. You think you're so funny and so charming, but it doesn't matter when you're still a fucking idiot."
Once I pulled into the driveway, I paused for about ten seconds until I finally started to cry. I looked at my phone and there wasn't even a text from him. Maybe I'm being absolutely ridiculous. I really didn't have any right to just come unannounced like that so maybe I'm in the wrong here.
I had to wait awhile for the tears to stop because I didn't want my mom to question me if she saw. If Hyunjin's home then I'll tell him, but I doubt it. We were all having so much fun at Seonghwa's.
Once I finally regained my composure, I quietly walked inside and managed to sneak right past my mom who was actually talking to Hyunjin and Yeosang. I'm glad he's home now, but I wouldn't want to intrude on his time with Yeosang. I went right to my bed and got under the covers to cry some more.
But my alone time was interrupted by a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I asked, sounding congested.
"It's us, Woo." Hyunjin answered.
"Come in." I sighed.
"Door's locked."
"Then break it down, I don't wanna get up." I groaned.
"Are you okay?"
I got out of bed and opened the door to show my face. I shook my head and hugged Hyunjin immediately.
"Come on, go lay down." The three of us went to my bed as I got back under the blankets, hiding most of my face. "What happened?" Hyunjin rubbed my back, trying his best to calm me down.
"I went to his house and his dad answered the door."
"Oh shit." Yeosang mumbled. "Was he an asshole?"
