"Jinnie, wake up!" Wooyoung screamed, jumping on my bed. "We're late for school." I groaned, pulling the covers over my head. "Do you wanna see Felix or not?" He ripped the sheets completely off, leaving me exposed. That's definitely one way to wake me up.
"Dick." I mumbled, getting out of bed.
"What was that?" He put his hand by his ear, wanting me to repeat myself.
"Thank you, my amazing, wonderful best friend."
"That's what I thought." He smiled.
Thirty five minutes went by and I was at my locker nearly falling inside because I couldn't stay awake.
"The red hair looks hotter in person, oh my god." That certainly woke me up. I turned to see a smiling Felix as he went up on his toes to give me a kiss.
"Morning, angel." I yawned, pulling him in my arms.
"Did you even sleep? You look exhausted."
"Long night. Wooyoung and I had one of our monthly therapy sessions where we both cry for hours." I smiled. I'm not exactly sure why this legitimately does happen every month, but it's therapeutic.
"Is everything okay?" He worried. I nodded, yawning again.
"We just talked about my parents."
"Oh." He slowly said, understanding why I look like I got hit by a bus.
"I really like the black, Lix." I changed the subject, kissing his head three times. "It suits you."
"More than the blonde?" He seemed shocked.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves now."
We just looked at each other adoringly in each other's arms. I really didn't care if we were in school. After last night, I don't want to leave his side.
"You guys are so gross." Minho interrupted. Unsurprisingly, Jisung was right behind him. Felix gave me 'the talk' about their relationship and told me I need to respect Minho's decision for still wanting to be with Jisung. He's a smart one; I know he'll only have his best interests in mind.
Felix stuck his tongue out and dug his head into my chest.
"Good morning." I smiled.
"Good morning, Elmo." Minho greeted nonchalantly as if that were my name.
"Trust me, it's not staying for long."
"I like it." Jisung shrugged. "Gives you that rebel look."
I appreciated his compliment. "Even though I'm the furthest thing from one."
"True, but it still looks really cool."
"Thank you." I awkwardly smiled. I have no idea how people like bright red hair, especially on me.
Minho and Jisung eventually parted ways with us, then shook my head watching them lightly push each other as they walked down the hallway.
"Hyunjinnie." Felix called, resting his chin on my chest to look up at me. I ran my fingers through his black hair and kissed his forehead.
"Yes?"
"Can I come over after practice?"
"Of course, angel. You don't have to ask."
The bell rang, signaling us to go to class. I sighed feeling disappointed.
"Love you."
"Love you more." We kissed one last time before separating and heading to our own classes.
The day was already going painfully slow. I fell asleep in first period...and second...and every period after that. I really didn't want to come to school today, but Wooyoung convinced me rather quickly. At least I made it to the end of the day with my favorite period. I find it somewhat ironic that gym class is the one I look forward to the most considering I hate physical activity, but I enjoy walking with Minho and Yeosang.
"We're at the suffering level." Minho confessed. "I feel like I'm fighting for my life." I knew he was serious too. "He has no problem being friends. Just friends. How is that possible?"
"It's not. He likes you." Yeosang scoffed, unable to fathom Minho's oblivion. "Do what Felix said and invite him over today. Either just talk about it or make a move."
"Minho, he follows you everywhere you go. Do you not realize that?" I added. "He loves spending time with you."
"You used to spend every second with Wooyoung even before you lived with him, what's the difference?"
"Um, you're practically comparing brother verse ex boyfriend. Big difference there."
"Especially considering everything you guys went through." Yeosang made a good point. The end of their relationship got pretty messy. "No need to be in denial. He's still very much in love. You don't see what the outside perspective sees."
"There's just a few things that don't make sense to me. I just find it weird that Han Jisung, the guy that couldn't even handle the fact that you had another best friend, doesn't even seem to care about Seonghwa."
I laughed, realizing that is definitely something to be confused about. "Knowing him, he's probably dying inside, but wants to seem like he doesn't care to get your attention."
Minho gasped, seemingly having a major realization. "That son of a bitch. You guys are right. He's one strategic fuck, I always knew that."
"I'm confused." Yeosang smiled. I love how he's one of the smartest people I know, but every little thing confuses him. Poor guy.
"He's playing hard to get."
"End the game, Lee Know. Make that move." I encouraged.
"You know what, I just might."
