"I hope I'm doing this right," Wooyoung was concentrated on adding the bleach to my hair, "because you can go bald if I mess up."

"You tell me that now?" I shouted, looking at myself in the mirror. "Why did I let you do this?"

"Do you not see me? If you're going down, I'm going down with you." He stressed. Instead of doing a full head of blonde like me, he decided to do bits and pieces to be a little different. I knew it was going to turn out great. "Felix is gonna love this." He smiled.

"You think San will?" I'm pretty positive he will.

"My hair could be bright red and he'd still love it."

I gasped. "You would look so good with red hair."

"Maybe one day." He shrugged. It's been two days since our interrogation at the dinner table. This was just a little bit of rebellion on my end. Dying my hair is rebellious to me, yes. Wooyoung has been asking for months so it didn't take much convincing for a helping hand. "Have you talked to Minho at all? When I got home the other night, he was still at Seonghwa's."

"Nope."

"He hasn't talked to San either."

"Felix hasn't asked him about it. He just wants to give him space. I know he's worried."

"No need to be." He shook his head, putting his hands on my shoulders as we both looked in his bathroom mirror. I was sitting so he was taller than me for once. "Jisung is a piece of shit and we love Seonghwa." He smiled innocently.

"Woo, you know they're not gonna date or anything, right?"

"Well they should." He scoffed.

Some time had passed and we both washed out the bleach. We didn't necessarily know what to do after that. Wooyoung claimed we're supposed to put blonde hair dye over it so if that's what he says, then that's what we'll do.

He was blowing my hair with dryer, acting as if he was a professional barber.

"You're burning my head." I mumbled, covering my face.

"Suck it up, you're almost done."

"So mean."

"I'm doing your hair for free, I should've charged you thousands. Don't start with me." He sassed.

"Yes, princess Wooyoung." I sighed. I only use that nickname when I feel like the sass level is at a one hundred.

We finally looked at our transformed selves and smiled.

"We look so good!" Wooyoung cheered, covering his face in disbelief. "Mom!" He rushed out. It was wholesome seeing him excited to show his mom, but also somewhat sad knowing I'd never have that with my own mother. "Mom, what do you think?" He asked with a huge smile and pointed to the both of us.

"Oh my goodness!" She smiled. "You both look great!" She gave Wooyoung a tight hug and a big kiss on the cheek. It took me by surprise when she gave me the same reaction, but of course I was happy by the gesture. "Woo, honey, could you get your little brother for dinner?" He nodded and ran off. "Hyunjin, sweetheart, come here." She waved me over. "He told me about what happened at dinner the other night. He was really upset and I can't imagine how you must've felt. Just know you always have a home here with this family, okay? You've always been like a son to me. We love you very much." She gave me another hug and squeezed me tight.

"I love you too." I bit my lip, keeping my emotions in check. It made me realize that I can't remember the last time my parents ever told me they loved me. Now that I think of it, it may have been before they realized I was gay.

Wooyoung came back into the room and immediately joined me and his mom.

"I don't know why we're hugging, but I wanted to join." He whispered.

"Because your best friend deserves a good, supportive family and he needs to know he's loved very much by us." She said and he nodded in agreement.

We all sat around the dinner table in comfortable silence. I felt safe. Maybe I should be sneaking here more often rather than Wooyoung climbing through my window.

"So," Ms. Jung began, "Wooyoung's told me about Felix." She smiled. I blushed at the mention of his name. "He's adorable. I need to meet him too. I still haven't met his mystery man." She rolled her eyes and pointed at Wooyoung.

"Mystery man?" I laughed.

"She doesn't know what he looks like." He smiled and lifted his glass to hide his face.

"I'm asleep by the time he brings him in the house." She shook her head playfully. "At this rate, I'll never meet him."

"Woo, how have you not shown her all this time?" I couldn't get over this. The extremes he'll go for dramatic effect is amazing.

"I saw him years ago and prayed that one day he would be in this house and I never gave up hope until about a month ago. Now here we are. My half boyfriend. Manifestation is real." He shrugged. "Felix also manifested you, he told me himself."

"Oh my god." I shook my head, continuing to eat my food. "Friday night, I'm taking him out by the way."

"Finally!" He screamed.

"Sweetheart, inside voice." His mom whispered, rubbing his arm. I stifled a laugh at how she still reprimands him at the age of 17.

Wooyoung then gasped. "Mom, I have an idea." She nodded. "Come to the football game with me Friday." I smiled at his perfect plan.

"Don't you want to hang out with your friends?"

"My friends are Hyunjin, Yeonjun, and Felix. You know they won't mind if the cool mom is there." She beamed at the compliment and I nodded in agreement that, not only is she the cool mom, but that I absolutely wouldn't mind at all.

"Okay." She nodded. "Is this because the mystery man will be there?"

Him and I both smirked at each other.

"Yes, he will." He smiled.

Wait till she finds out Wooyoung is with the football captain.
