The physical went well overall.

The only thing I have to work on is my physical strength and endurance. You lose some muscle over time when you're in space so it's important that you're physically fit.

Leading up to training camp I will have to start lifting weights and doing cardio. As a girl who used to skip the gym to go to the library and a former mathlete, some of this stuff is new to me.

I've always been a bit skinny so I've never seemed to feel the need to work out. It must be all those meals I've skipped because I was too focused on work.

They actually hired me a personal trainer though, so that's pretty cool. Now that the physical went well, this is all feeling much more real.
