Shit, I really fell out of my diary habit recently. I always struggle to stay consistent with these things.
Honestly, with a bit over a month before training camp my trainer has been pushing me super hard. It's as if he has me preparing to fight in one of those cage matches. When I first went to him, I'm embarrassed to say that I was barely able to do a single real push up. In my defense I haven't tried to do pushups in years.
Now I'm able to do around twenty in a set. According to him that is about the average for a woman my age, but I think he is lying. Even if there is some data suggesting that people lie all the time.
Regardless, I feel great in the training sessions. Correction. I feel until the running portion. The running portion has always been hell, but for the past week or so he has had me running three miles per day every day. Not to make excuses, but I think I've been slacking on making diary entries because I'm so tired from all the running. I used to struggle to go to sleep at night, but now I am out cold the moment I hit the pillow.
On the bright side I have to say I am pretty impressed with what I see in the mirror. I'm also starting to enjoy the gym, which is something I did not expect to happen. It's a good thing because in order to maintain your muscles in space and on a lower gravity terrain like Europa you have to do tons of exercise.
