After a few days of morning, we are back to work. Commander Hunt has checked up on me a couple times. I didn't handle the death of Richard so well, and while I had known him the longest it was pretty clear to Commander Hunt that I was the closest with Miller.

I asked Commander Hunt how he was doing with all this, and he shook it off like it was nothing, but I don't believe him. He always acts so tough and strong in front of us. In his mind that's what makes a good leader.

However, I knew how much Miller meant to him. This was not their first mission together. They would always talk to one another aside from the rest of the group from the first day of training camp. She understood the sacrifices you make when you accept a mission like this back before any of the rest of us did.

We came to Europa as a team of seven. Now only four of us remained. I think when I came to Europa I was distracted by the beauty of this moon. Now, every time I return to the main camp I am reminded by three makeshift tombstones lined up beside each other how dangerous this mission truly is.

Nothing we can do on this mission can bring them back, but we can bring their deaths meaning. It can't have been all for nothing.
