The Chinese camp seems to be in shambles. I'd been focused on our own drill camp and analyzing all the samples that I hadn't been paying attention to Lee when he was giving us his spy update. That is I wasn't paying attention until he revealed one of the structures in their camp exploded.
The ice quake that had caused complications on our submarine expedition had seemingly ravaged their camp a few days ago, swallowing entire structures into deep ice of Europa's crust. Looking at the images Lee's drone had taken after the quake the ice quake had decimated their camp. In the days since there had been no activity from the camp. The explosion was likely from their power systems failing.
It seemed that a desperate situation had only gotten worse for them. If there was an upside, they had stopped berating our radio demanding our food and medicine. Perhaps with all the deaths they'd experienced perhaps the food was no longer necessary.
