NASA agreed to allow us to bury Richard on Europa. We have frozen him once again to keep his body fresh.
The family thought my idea was very thoughtful. They will be putting together a video to serve as his tribute. We will be filming the funeral service for them. As the member of the team who was closest to him I will be sure to say a few words.
In lighter news, some of the members of the crew have begun to open their messages from home. Adams has just found out he is a father. Today he just saw a photo of his five year old daughter. He was in tears. I must say, she is beautiful.
I have not yet opened my messages. I think I just need another day to mourn Richard and compose my thoughts.
