Tomorrow morning I will be flying home to see Diego and Dad again. I cannot wait to see them again. I plan to spend every second I can with them before I have to go into quarantine.
Right now I am only trying to focus on the positive. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to see them again after six whole weeks apart. The training might have been difficult at times but it was nothing compared to how tough it was to be without them for so long.
We will be spending the week in Florida. Diego loves amusement parks so we will be sure to do a few days in Disney World. From there we will spend the rest of the week on the beach as a family. We will also have a photographer take a family picture so I can leave Dad and Diego with one last photo of me before I go, as well as giving me a picture of us all together to take up with me. I know that when times get tough on this mission looking at that photo will make it easier.
