I have not left my sleeping bag in two days. In that time I've barely written home or even read the messages they've sent me. I just don't seem to have the energy. I believe I am suffering from lingering side effects from the cryo freezing.

Hopefully I feel better soon. Lingering sickness on a mission like this can lead to certain death.

I've been trying to force myself to eat more. I haven't had the appetite to eat and the taste of the food has not really helped with that, but I've noticed I've been getting a bit skinny.

Weight loss is a big deal in space, as it can be much more difficult to put on mass in lower gravity and zero gravity, particularly muscle.

I wonder if any of these symptoms are also a result of the cryogenic freezing process. They were not listed, but the technicians also promised it would be completely safe to use them. Clearly that was not the case in Richard's case.
