There is still no update from the crew at the drill site. This is getting discouraging, but at this point there is nothing me and Lee can do about it. We've already scouted out the other two sites using the rover. Of the three I would like to take a closer look at the third one. It seems significantly below the ice level of the other two, one thing I didn't realize when I'd first selected it. It could mean we will need to do less drilling to reach the ocean, which could be important considering the struggles the drill team has run into.

It would be nice if they gave us more of an update, unless they don't seem to have any. The last they mentioned they were having trouble finding an ideal surface to fasten the drill where they could actually break through. It sounded like a serious issue, but Horvat assured it was a minor setback. I don't know if it was reassuring or if felt like he was desperately trying to defend his drill.

In the meantime, Lee has found a way to run a videogame using the drone feed modules. I would normally object to something like this, using this technology for something other than the mission, but at this point I was quite consumed by boredom.

I asked him how he'd managed to download a video game and he excitedly shared that he'd created it with all the time that we'd been sitting around. It was pretty simple, similar to a battleship, but it was actually quite entertaining. We would play with each other, each holding one of two drone modules that displayed the opponent's side of the board where we were trying to find the spaceships. It made the time pass faster.

He said if it takes too much longer, he might make a chess game. Hopefully I'll have better luck with that, because I've only beaten him twice in this. I have a feeling he'd be just as dominant in chess.
