As the sun roze over shahnawaz havaili the day started off a bit more hectic then usual...
With everyone up bright and early, sweets being packed and gift baskets prepared
As it was the Khans attending the mehndi afterall!

Anila: meerub... meer-
Anila paused as she walked into meerubs room intending to wake her up but to her surprise found meerub already up and ready wearing a light pink suit with her duppata draped across her shoulders and hair in her signature pony, laying out her clothes for the mehndi on her bed...

Anila: wah bhai... aaj tou khud hi uth gai!
Meerub: han mama wo... mehndi ki excitment se Shaihd neend nahi aye!
Anila: chalo bohat achi baat hai! Ab jaldi se neeche aakey nashta karlo phir mehndi ke liey bhi nikalna hai!

Meerub: ji aap jain main aati hu!
Anila: jaldii!
She said as she left the room...
As soon as she left meerubs smile fadded as she dropped herself on her bed with her arm covering her face...

Haye mama kaisi batau ke is maya aur murtu ke case ne meri neendey uradi hai...
She thought as she jumped up and headed outside...

She said as she walked into the dining room to find all the adults seated but the kids not present...

She said as she took her seat...

She said as mariam came running into the dining room...

She said quickly taking her seat...
Maa begam: walaikumasalam... kafi der hogai beta
Mariam: sorry maa! Wo kaal raat haya ki mehndi lagaty lagaty der hogai!
Maa begam: mehndi se yaad aya apni apni mehndi tou dekao!
She said as mariam and meerub held up their hands adorned with bright red mehndi...

Anila: mashallah kitna pyara rung aya hai!
Maa begam: bohat pyari lag rahi hai!
Haya: akhir lagai kissney hai?
She said rushing into the dining room and taking her seat...
Haya: asalamualaikum!
Maa begam: walaikumasalam beta!

Haya: mariam tumney meri jewellery sambal li thi na?
Mariam: han yaar kapro ke sath hi rakh di thi!
Maa begam: chalo ab jaldi se nashta karlo phir sab tyaar hojana!
Mukhtar: yeh maya, murtasim aur arsal kahan hai?
Anwar: wo arsal aur murtasim bahir gari mein mehndi ke kuch tofey rakh rahey they...
Haya: aur maya tyaar horahi hai!

Murtasim: Asalamualaikum maa!

Maya said walking into the dining room in a simple jeans and t-shirt...

She said as she sat down next to murtasim...

Haya: maya mehndi tou dekao!
Haya said as maya held up her red mehndi stained hands...

Maa begam: mashallah bohat pyari lagi hai!
Maya: haya bohat achi mehndi lagati hai! Mainey tou ab issey se lagwani hai!
Haya: uff mere tou customers zyada hotey jaa rahey hain!
She said which got everyone to laugh...
Maa begam: chalo ab khana shuru karo late na hojaye!

Once breakfast ended it got quite hectic in the havaili with everyone running around and getting ready...
Meerub had changed into her sage green dress and pinned her duppata to her shoulder, she had done her makeup and was now curling her hair...

Mariam: Meerub! Meerub!!!
Mariam said rushing into meerubs room wearing her yellow dress with a bright pink duppata draped across her shoulder, her hair in a messy braided bun with loose strands curled in the front framing her face...
Mariam: meerub tum to ho bhi gai tyaar! Bohat pyaari lag rahi ho!
Meerub: tum bhi itni achi lag rahi ho yaar mariam!
