As the sun sent its early rays flitting across the city, stars washed away and the sky changed hues to welcome the start of day, Istanbul whirled to life.
It's grand horizon bathed in golden light, every view of its architecture glittered in all it's glory. As the city lit in color, crafting a sight rich of culture, laced in tradition and hard to miss.
Yet when seeming to follow their own life long tradition, the pair all set to explore it was fashionably, unbelievably... dangerously late.
Murtasim: Yaar, Meerubbb!!!
He whined, full on pouted in impatience with the call this time...They had booked a day of touring, booked a guide who awaited them with it.
And minutes before their group would set off, Murtasim stood counting seconds, huffing breaths and pacing to the point his footsteps seemed etched to the floor of their suite.
As his newly wedded wife had taken hours, and planned to take a few more to get ready.
Murtasim: Jaldi ka lo, yaar!
He threw another glance to his watch, pouting harder at how quick time flew...Murtasim: Tour guide ne hummarey bagair tour pe nikal jaana hai...!
The warning rumbled next, following yet another walk of his across the room...He absolutely couldn't comprehend on how it took that long to get ready. Suddanly related to every joke the Havaili men had cracked about it and earned smacks on the arm for.
It was unbelievable.
She didn't even need it!
And yet, his lips didn't cooperate. As despite the swirl of mind, they had been traitorously curling.
Not at how late they were.
Not at how late they were going to be.
But at the fact that it was because of his wife.
His officially wedded wife.
The mere thought was still amusing, almost unreal.
And the little reminders of it from every time they got late thanks to her preparation. Every time their day was perfectly planned because of her research. And every little hint laced through it which just screamed her.
They left him giddy, losing breath all of a suddan and smiling wide enough for it to hurt without even knowing it.
And another one soon filled the air, rippling through the silance like a song, and just sweet enough to give his heart it's first sqeeze.
Meerub: Aarahi hu, bhai!!!
The call a melody, accompanied by footsteps, a swift "tsk" and hurried rustling...And then, her.
His officially wedded wife.
His new bride.
His Meerub.
Murtasim shot around, grasped to unraveling senses like his life depended on it and looked like a deer caught in headlights.
Only to see her.
And everything else was just gone. As the realization of why it took the beauty so long to get ready hit.
She strutted out the bathroom, quick, swift, perfectly composed and somehow brightening the room she walked across.
The girl dressed in crisp white, a two piece set hugging her every curve, draping down her frame like the fabric was crafted solely to fit her.
All paired with little hints of gold, a chain, rings, and dainty earrings her fingers worked to clasp as she walked to the dresser.
