She said completely dumbfounded as her eyes flickered between maya and murtasim, while the cousins mouths fell open as they leaned over further...
Maya: phupo...
She started as she walked over and knelt down near maa begams chair, taking a hold of her hand...

Maya: aap please situation samgey na!
She started with a pleading tone...
Maa begam: beta yeh kaisey situation hai?!?! Koi hummey bhi samajey!
She asked in utter confusion with furrowed brows...
Maya: phupo... mera career, social life, meri zindagi amarica mein hai!
She stated with a soft smile...
Maya: main sab chor ke yahan settle nahi hosakti!
She said as maa begam just watched while her eyes narrowed...

Maya: phupo, Dad ne tou mujhsey poochey, batay bagair hi yeh decision le lia!
She said with a frown and furrowed brows...
Maya: main tou kaal hi sab clear kardena chaati thi laikin aap logo ne tou kuch kehney ka mauka hi nahi dia!

Maya: aur phupo murtu bhi clearly is shaadi se khush nahi hai!
She said looking up to murtasim...
Murtasim: maa hum dono hi is rishtey se raazi nahi hain... ab aap log zabardasti tou nahi karsaktey!
He said in a stern tone as maa begams expressions softened...

At this point the cousins were practically leaning over eachother trying to hear whats happening as the living room had gone quiet...

When suddenly arsal who was standing at the back leaned over a little too much... suddenly the rest of their eyes widened as they went toppling over into the living room one after the other...
They all fell through the open door with mariam first and arsal who came toppling at the end who had accidentally pushed them all in...

Their eyes fell wide and mouths open as maa begam stood up in confusion and anger while maya and murtasim started staring at them in confusion...
Meerub: wo uh.... m-maa begam hum...
She said frantically straitning up as she adjusted her duppata...
Arsal: wo... maa begam main- uh h-hum sab poochney ay they ke koi... chai.. coffee chaiyey...?
He said with an awkward smile as a lame excuse to which maa begam took a sharp breath to calm the anger she was visibly trying to control...
Haya: wah! kya cover kia hai...
She said sarcastically in a whisper as arsal nudged her...

Maa begam: chalo... sab niklo!
She said sitting back down on her chair as she held onto her head...
Mariam: ji?... uh ji ji!
She said signaling everyone to get out as all the cousins other then murtasim went running out the door...
Arsal: tou... chai coffee... nahi?
Arsal asked from the door as maa begams eyes shot up to him in anger...
Maa begam: NIKLO!
She yelled as arsal without another thought went sprinting out the living room...

All the cousins went running over one after the other but just as meerub was about to follow after she stopped hearing maa begams voice cracking through the tension in the air...

Maa begam: murtasim... yeh kya mazaak hai??? Inkaar hi karna tha tou han kiu ki?!
She asked in confusion as he stood infront of her with his hands folded behind his back...
Murtasim: maa dimagh kharaab hogaya tha mera!
He started in a loud tone...
Murtasim: ke sochey samajey bagair han kardi!
He said angrily with knotted brows...

Murtasim: bohat bari ghalti hogai mujhsey... mujhey aapkey announcement karney se bohat pehley hi inkaar kardena chaiyey tha!
He stated in a firm tone...

Murtasim: bohat der kardi mainey... aur issi der ki wajah se ghalatfehmia bhari hain...
He said as he looked down with knotted brows...
Murtasim: laikin ab mazeed der karney ke ghalti nahi karunga...
maa begam just watched as her brows furrowed in confusion while he looked up to her...
Murtasim: kya matlab...?
She asked curiously as meerubs brows knotted listening carefully...

Murtasim: maa main maya se nahi... meerub se shaadi karna chaata hu!
He spoke suddenly in a louder tone as maa begams expressions dropped while meerubs jaw fell open...
Maa begam: ...kya...?
She said in a softer tone as her brows clenched while meerubs eyes grew wide...
Murtasim: maa mere dil mein humesha se meerub hi thi! Pata nahi yeh maya beech mein kahan se aagai!
He said firmly in a loud tone as meerub felt her heartbeat double in speed hearing the suddan words...
