Tuesday morning was a blur.
You actually had to leave before Yoongi was even ready because you had a lot to get done before Bang Si-Hyuk came in for the meeting.
“At what time do you guys even sleep?” You asked Heon and Han while driving to the office. They were sort of always there. When you called Han around 6:30 to ask if they could be at Yoongi's a little earlier that day, he replied saying they were already there.
At night, they waited for the night guards to switch with them, but if Yoongi was working late, they stayed with him and you had the suspicion that if you were to work late, they'd stay too.
“We sleep, miss Y/N, don't worry about that. The company wouldn't let us work if we're sleep deprived. I won't lie, adjusting to your schedule is way easier than that of the members, we could get used to this.” Han said with a smile through the rearview mirror and you laughed.
“I'll take note of that. Alright, we have the meeting with Bang Si-Hyuk today, I expect it to be over by 12:30 and then, we're going shopping Heon-ah!”
Heon nodded quite somberly and Han rolled his eyes, the kid really needed to learn when you were trying to joke or be funny.
You were already parking at your spot. When you got out of the car, Han bowed and said,
“As Yoongi-ya says, miss y/n, you'll kick ass.”
Heon looked horrified but you laughed and fist bumped Han, “hell yeah, I will. Now, gaja, there's lots to do!”
Eunji was already at her desk, the samples arranged on it in four different groups and you could tell she was freaking out.
“Good morning, Eunji-ssi!” You said, your tone happy and collected. “Come into my office real quick so we can finalize some details.”
Eunji bowed to Han and then followed you into your office, bringing the samples with her.
“Alright,” you began, sitting on your chair and Eunji sat on the opposite side of your desk, “we'll present everything the way we had prepared it for the original meeting and then settle on what we need for the entire launch.”
“Noted,” replied Eunji, “We already have three suppliers in line, the ones you picked, and we're ready to start the production as soon as we get the green light.”
“See? Everything is fine! You were nervous for no reason. We'll be fine. I need to work on some stuff before they come and then around 10, I'll go to the bathroom real quick.”
You went right to work and once you were focused, nothing else mattered. Everything was ready around 9:30, pulling off your glasses you laid your head back on the chair and began repeating in your head what you were going to say in the meeting. You knew it by heart and you were confident in your work. You were good, damn good.
Then why did you suddenly feel nervous? Why did it have to be Bang Si-Hyuk the one to come? Why didn't he send the marketing department or someone else from logistics? It really felt like he was trying to intimidate you. Was he trying to scare you away?
A wave of nausea suddenly hit you and you pushed off your desk and bolted to the bathroom.
When you came running out of your office, you saw Eunji jump up from her chair and yell your name and so did Han, who immediately chased after you.
You burst into the bathroom and into a stall, effectively throwing up the coffee and water you had drank before.
Han came in after you, not caring that this was the ladies room.
