Yoongi's POV
“You know, just because you fidget it won't make time go faster or the shots to be perfect either.” Seokjin whispered in Yoongi's ear, making him stop bouncing his legs.
“I'm not fidgeting because of that, I'm cold, that's all.”
“Yeah, tell that to someone who buys it. We know you'd much rather be back at your apartment right now, but there's nothing you can do about it and if you're this anxious because of two days, how are you going to handle the tour?”
He had a point. But it wasn't just that he missed you, he hated the way you left home on Tuesday, how his mom had treated you -yes, she apologized to him, not to you, and a simple apology wasn't going to erase how she made you feel- and he just needed to make sure you were okay.
Both Tae and Jungkook had said you were okay, Seojunah too, but he needed to see you with his own eyes, hold you and kiss you. Feel your warmth and your skin. Yoongi was whipped to the core.
“I know…I told her I wish she could come with us.”
“Oh? And what did she say?”
“That she wishes she could too but no.”
“She's a smart woman. That's why you love her. She's her own person with a job she's worked hard for and has made sacrifices of her own to keep. I would be very disappointed in her if she threw it all away for a three month tour.” Seokjin really was wiser than he made it look.
“I would be too. I'm just greedy and selfish.”
“You're in love. It's what happens.”
“You keep being cryptic about this whole love thing. What don't we know about you, hyungie? Do you have a secret wife and two kids that we don't know about?” Joked Yoongi.
“You'll never know.” He wiggled his eyebrows and shot out his tongue at him.
It was Yoongi's turn to be under the spotlight and he performed magnificently. It took about forty five minutes for his solo shots to be done. By the time he was back in his chair, he had missed your text saying you were going to bed. He hoped with all his might that you could get some sleep.
Yoongi ended up getting home at around 3, so he sent you a simple text: just got home. I love you. I miss you. Hoping he wouldn't wake you up. By the time he was ready for bed, you hadn't replied, so he went to sleep thinking you were too, that helped him relax.
He woke up around eight to this:
7:30 a.m.
Y/N: “Good morning, my love. I hope you had some rest after the long shoot last night. I was able to sleep, not all at once, but it's an improvement. I'm jumping in the shower and I have a meeting from 8 through 10. Just text me whenever you can. I love you.”8:03 a.m.
Yoongi: “Good morning, princess. I know you're already in your meeting and I don't want to interrupt. I'm glad you could at least sleep some. You'll get some much needed sleep tonight, I promise. I love you too.”You texted back a simple heart emoji and Yoongi understood, you couldn't text more.
He got ready and headed down to his garage, where Seojun was waiting for him.
“Hey, Seojunah…were you supposed to drive me today? I don't remember that being on the schedule.”
“Morning, Yoongi-ya. No, it wasn't,” he said as he opened the door for Yoongi and went to get in himself, “I figured you'd be tired after last night's shoot, so I volunteered to come pick you up.”
“Ah, brother, you didn't have to. You were up late too.”
“True, but my job today consists of sitting most of the day while you're in a meeting.” Yoongi laughed. “I also had another motive to talk to you alone.”
