16.Proposal For Anghari

Samragyi Mahal...East Side.

"Family banquet?" Nandini looked at Sulachana who was standing infront of her. The first thing in the morning she heard was a family banquet. She was quite surprised.

Sulachana nodded, "yes, Rajkunwari has asked me to tell you about it"

"Buashree...." Nandini paused for a while before she got up, "then lead the way, I would like to talk to Buashree personally"

"Of course, please come with me Samragyi" Sulachana nodded. Nandini followed her out of the room with Medha. Before she left she turned to look at Anghari.

"Pick some flowers from the garden" then she left to meet Kashmira.

Kashmira was already expecting Nandini to come. So she was not surprised when she saw Nandini coming in with Sulachana. "I told you to tell the news yet you even dragged Samragyi along with you?" She asked.

Nandini smiled, "I hope I am not bothering you Buashree"

"Of course not, actually I am bored. In the past I would have always gotten headache now and then. But since you took care of the ShtriMahal I don't have to hear any complaints or deal with matters anymore, you have totally freed me from the inner palace matters"

"It's my duty" Nandini sat beside her, "I have heard about the banquet, what is it Buashree? So suddenly?"

Kashmira smiled, "Actually it was an idea from Bhabhishree. She said that it has been such a long time we dined together as a family. And I also think this idea is not bad too. You have been married but we didn't have feast or performed any  family tradition to welcome you formally. So with this banquet, you will be introduced to everyone formally. It's not about us only but there will be some relatives too"

Hearing her explanation Nandini understood Kashmira's kind intention. But she still felt something was really off. Because this matter was suddenly suggested by Shanti who don't seem to favour her like Kashmira does. So for a woman like her who detest her so much she would definitely not have any kind of feeling with this suggestion. Nandini frowned at her own thought.

Is Shanti planning something?

"Nandini what happened?" Kashmira asked seeing her frowning slightly.

Nandini was out of her trance and shook her head, "nothing. I was thinking about how to prepare everything. Since Kakishree suggested it then as a daughter in law of the family, I have to prepare it well. I couldn't let Samrat down in the banquet"

"You don't have to worry about it. I will help you. There are few things you need to remember well. Let me tell you about it" Kashmira said. Nandini just nodded and kept her thinking aside as she listened to Kashmira's advise.

Anghari walked in the garden and looked around. There were few people in the garden taking care of the flowers. There were many flowers bloomed and planted in different raws. When the old Gardener saw her he placed the watering can down before walking towards her.

"You are..." The old Gardener frowned.

"I am Samragyi's Sevika Anghari. I came to pluck some flower for my Samragyi" Anghari replied politely.

The old gardener smiled, "oh that's why I was in confused because I have never seen you before. I am working here as a maalee from the last 20 years and I know all the faces of the sevikas working in the palace"

Anghari nodded, "I have never came here so this is also my first time to visit the palace garden. Actually Samragyi palace has a small garden in the backyard but there's a lack of few flowers. So I was tasked to pick some flower to make fragrance power for my master"
