Parisa walked towards them with her maids. She frowned at Frida with a questioning look. Frida took a step at side lowering her head. The gesture was small yet it was the showcase of authority. Now Nandini could view the awaited woman clearly. The posture of the foreign woman wearing different cloths with high material already proven her position. Nandini pondered for a while before clearing mind and focusing on the current situation.
"Malika this lady refused to give the rabbit" Frida said in slow tone. There was a hidden grievance in her voice.
Parisa turned her focus from Frida to the woman standing infront of her. She didn't pay much attention to her earlier as she could only look at the rabbit. Now looking at the woman clearly she could see there's no warmness or any kind of admiration in her eyes. It felt like those orbs were just an empty shell. She frowned, she has met many women with different attitude but like her ...? No, she hasn't seen any.
The woman with simple attire looked ordinary woman of the village so Parisa didn't give much thoughts on her. It's adjustable. She thought flashing a smile. It's not a much of a deal for her.
"This lady, you must have misunderstood my maid's intention. The rabbit in your arm is really beautiful and it caught my attention. It would be polite if you give me that. But you don't have to worry, I will definitely offer you suitable rewards afterwards" Parisa said in her gentle voice.
Such a forceful - Nandini thought in her mind. She refused first to lure the woman so that she could personally take a look but now she felt irritated. She don't like too much pestering. Whether she said no for fun or seriously, for her no means always no, there's no alternative. Now that this pair of servant and master pestering her like this, it only trigger her irritation to the extreme level.
"Please do not be too polite Malika, besides I don't need any kind of rewards. I couldn't even handle mine, what will I do with yours?" She smiled, "Please refrain me from all of this things. There are many other rabbits in the forest behind the village, you can always ask someone to find a suitable one for you" Nandini replied with the same gentle and delicate voice Parisa used. She hold the white rabbit in her arm then left without waiting for Parisa to reply.
"Malika, this is really an insult" Nahal cried out.
"She is just an ordinary village woman yet she insulted you like this" Frida said. No one ever raised voice back in Marzban. Now that someone just argued back how could she stay still? "Malika, if others heard then they would definitely take your authority lightly"
Parisa clenched her fist. That woman, she really dared to refuse me like this. I will tell Shah about it. She turned around and left angrily while her maids ran behind her.
The small encounter was seen by the man who was standing a little far from them. The servant behind him also saw the scene and he looked at his master.
"Samrat, The Malika left angrily" Pallav uttered.
Manik stood there looking at the place which was now empty. He sighed inwardly. He have told that woman not to get involve with them. But look at her attitude. Though he couldn't hear what they were talking but he could guess the point. That woman is hard headed. She wouldn't listen to him at all. At the end he shook his head and turned around.
"That's the matter of woman, what it got to do with me?" He said. Since she wanted to create trouble then she would be the one handling it. "Did they return?"
Pallav nodded, "yes, they are waiting for you"
"Let's go then" Manik said and they left the place.
